FicOlivo is synonymous with kindness and hospitality

FicOlivo is synonymous with kindness and hospitality. We could not have chosen a better place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of our city, Florence. The room was very clean and the property is also perfect for those traveling with small children.
A special thanks to Giovanna for her warm welcome and for sharing with us the recipes for her cakes, truly delicious!

If I could, I would give 10 stars. Friendliness, courtesy, kindness, warm welcome, professionalism, excellent breakfast. Clean room and super equipped for every need. Silence, clean air... In short, highly recommended.

"Very good, but I was sad!"

The place is beautiful and with pool. Bed and bathroom comfortable. The bed linen and towels are super white. Everything very clean. Bedroom and bathroom well lit, with several hangers for towels and clothes and various mirrors. Tasty breakfast. When we arrived at Mrs. Giovana said that we had to pay the tourist fee in the amount of 12 euros, for the three nights: couple. As I had changed, I checked and already paid and my husband took the card to pay for the reservations, but Mrs. Giovana was distracted and was immediately directing us to our room. On the last day when we went to make the payment to Mr. Giovana charged again the tourist fee. My husband and I said we had already paid, but she didn't believe it. It was our word against her, who owns the place. She also said "either pay everything or pay nothing." If the rule is this, why did you accept when I paid on arrival? I did not argue and paid again. I regretted not ordering a receipt. I'm very right, and that annoyed me too much. I was very sad.

When we arrived the place looked an old farm in the middle of nowhere. The pool had no water in it and was closed , room was small with lot of flies and a/c controls were taped off . Was very disappointed and turned key back in without even taking my suitcases out of the car . Regretted it very much to have booked this place . Did not even get a refund . Horribly

In the green countryside of Grosseto

We spent, in passing, a night at Ficolivo. Very kind staff, really nice rooms and equipped with every comfort, rich and organic breakfast. The property also has a swimming pool and ample parking. Excellent stop for those who want to visit the village of Pitigliano, whose center is only 5 minutes by car.
