Optimal

Excellent experience, very clean and spacious rooms with all comforts. Mr. Diego was very welcoming upon our arrival, giving us very useful information on how to get around the city and what to see

Strategic Location

We loved our stay, Diego is always available for all your needs. We went for 1 night, we ended up staying 3 nights. The last night Diego was so king to help us printing our tickets, we really appreciated it.
Easy parking outside the building, there’s a supermarket near by too. 10 min to the city center.
Thank you so much for everything, we’ll definitely go back.

Feels like home

Very clean, friendly owners and good breakfast :) We didn't have problems for parking although they don't have private parking. In high season you have also possibility for diner. It is a good place to stay.

Great place

We had a really good stay. The bedroom was clan, renewed and with a/c. The breakfast also good. The only but was the noise from outside, during the night u could heard all the cars. But in Sicily and in a city, it can be normal :)

Lovely Place & Hosts

BB Il Tipico is a well-appointed and friendly place to stay in if you would like to explore the amazingly beautiful North-western area of Sicily. The room itself is very comfortable with all the amenities and furnishings that one would need whilst on holiday. The attention to detail was much appreciated by us. A good night’s sleep is guaranteed as it situated in a quiet neighbourhood and the beds are very comfortable. The room was kept immaculately clean which makes you feel at ease and at home. Wi-Fi works perfectly, a fridge is available at all times and it is well-stocked with drinks if you wish to buy any. Packed lunches and delicious typical Sicilian dinners are available on request. The lady of the house, Signora Gabriella is a very talented, hard-working person who, amongst other things, bakes delicious stuff for breakfast and she takes pride in keeping her guests very happy. The rest of the Canzoneri family ensure to continue making everyone’s stay an agreeable one in all respects. It is obvious that this family-run BB is not just another source of income for the owners but it is their pleasure to host people from all over the world wanting to explore this beautiful area of Sicily. Lovely hosts indeed! The historical centre of Trapani is about ten minutes drive away and Trapani Birgi airport is about twenty minutes drive away. Il Tipico is within walking distance from the cable car to the beautiful medieval town of Erice. We would recommend staying at this BB but we would also recommend that you hire a car. Parking next to the B&B is easy, free and safe. Having said that, BB Il Tipico can makes arrangements for reasonably-priced transfers if one does not wish to drive. We did not use the bus service so we cannot comment on that. We would recommend BB Il Tipico with our eyes closed. Go see for yourselves – you will not be disappointed!
