Delighted

Spent few days in this B&B. I have to say it has been a very nice and relaxing staying. Very good service overall i would certainly reccomend to step by. Rooms are well designed and cofortable. The breakfast was simply awesome

An experience to forget

I stayed in this B&B paying too much and without even having a receipt. In the room the shutter did not close tightly and there was not even a curtain, so I was woken by the light every morning at dawn. The air conditioner was full of dust and I doubt the filters were ever changed, but I was forced to turn it on because of the heat inevitably getting puffy and red eyes. As if that were not enough, the directions were to leave the room at 10, but already at 9:30 they knocked on the door to hurry the exit. Last but not least, after leaving the room I realized that the elevator lock had been specially turned to prevent me from using it, so I had to walk three floors with my suitcases.

Meh!

Clean room but not up to expectations. In the brochure it says mini bar but you can't even find a bottle of water, it says breakfast in the room and a coffee machine in every room but to have a coffee you have to get fully dressed and go to a bar for a few hundred of meters......not comfortable at all. I don't think I'll be back again.

Did not honor reservation!

I made a reservation by email directly with the hotel. They confirmed my two rooms and said they would subsequently email with payment instructions. A few days before departing for Sicily, I had not heard from them so I emailed them again to let them know I would be leaving in a few days and arriving at the hotel in a weeks time. I did not hear back from them and that concerned me. From Siracusa, I had the hotel call Kore to confirm and they denied that I had a reservation (even though I had their confirmation email with me) and said that they were sold out. ( They also asked the person that called on my behalf if we were Italian.)
I would not trust this place! They could have responded to my email before I left and let me know then ( and could have said there had been some mistake or error) but they did not. If I did not call the day before, I would have been out of luck when I showed up there. When I first contacted them, they quoted me a slightly higher rate than listed here. I did not think much of it then but I suspect they may have gotten an inquiry from another traveler, quoted them an even higher rate and when they accepted, they decided they didn't need my reservation anymore.

Clean room with lovely balcony

My husband and I spent two nights at the B& B Kore. The room was clean and the double bed was very comfortable. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the parking lot. The couple who run this B & B are very friendly and gave us excellent tips. The only drawback is that they cannot speak English although this was not a problem for us as we are able to understand and speak Italian. The breakfast was a little bit poor just a coffee and cornetto (excellent). I would recommend this B & B to everyone who would like to have their base in Enna as parking is no problem. We were unable to connect to internet although we were given a code for access. We wish the owners of Kore success.
