Mixed feelings
The nice blue house is located in a small residential area, not far from the main road. You do not hear the traffic noise if you leave the room window closed. However, the noise insulation between rooms and the breakfast area is very poor. Both air conditioning and heating are provided, and you can set the room temperature yourself, which is a good thing.
I spent 3 nights in a small single room. The room was clean, with new modern furniture. Contrary to what was advertised, I had no personal balcony and no interesting view. Except the fridge with a couple of free drinks and a kettle, room amenities are minimal: no foreign TV channels, no in-room safe, no slippers, no tissues. The shower is small and leaking. The Wi-Fi is good.
The breakfast is served from 8am, which was too late for me. There is a good mix of bread, croissants, cereals, pastries, cheeses, and pork products. On the last day, I got an excellent homemade fruit salad, as well as fresh sandwiches.
I was not impressed by the service. The owner is courteous, but you do not really see him as he lives in a separate section of the house and the reception desk is always empty. They forgot to clean my room after the first night. And after the second night, I met the cleaning lady who asked me whether I wanted my room to be cleaned, as if it was an option.
I paid a decent price for my room (56 euros per night), but I do not think that I would stay there again.

Excellent B&B near Como
Best place I stayed in for quite a while. Large, clean, well cared for apartment with excellent facilities, comfortable bed and great bathroom. Free nespresso coffee, water, juice, tea. Full functional kitchen (if that's what you need, but come on - Italian food is amazing and affordable!) and very nice hosts.
If I'd HAVE to fault something, it might be location as it's a 5 minute drive to Como and doesn't have any specific beautiful view. However, it's close to main roads, yet quiet and with an Italian ' feel', so we enjoyed it!
Oh, also great breakfast!
All in all a great stay and I'd stay here again in a heartbeat! Definitely recommended!
