Recommended for families

Renovated, spacious and well furnished apartment. Not far from the center and possibility of parking in front of the site. Recommended for families. The hosts are friendly and ready to respond to any requests. We recommend nearby restaurant with the same name Teate

Excellent

Excellent property located right in the center. The room is beautiful and evocative, recently renovated and equipped with every comfort. Clean and well heated environments. Pets are allowed.
We will definitely return.

Mind the cancelation policy and unfriendly host

A causa della disastrosa alluvione in Emilia Romagna, la linea ferroviaria si è interrotta dopo Bologna verso Pescara. Avevo una prenotazione presso questa struttura con arrivo il giovedì in treno da Milano. Trenitalia comunicava la cancellazione dei treni su quella tratta solo uno o due giorni prima della prevista partenza e ho sperato di poter partire fino all'ultimo. Data la situazione molto incerta, il lunedì ho provato a contattare la struttura tramite la chat di Booking chiedendo se c'era la possibilità di spostare la data dell'intero soggiorno, ma non ho avuto risposta. Il giorno successivo ho riprovato, ma ancora nulla perciò ho telefonato. Al telefono mi dicono che per modificare o annullare la prenotazione mi dovevo rivolgere a Booking e che non avevano ricevuto i miei messaggi perché la sezione dell'host sull'app era in aggiornamento. A questo punto provo a posticipare il mio soggiorno ad altro periodo tramite la app di Booking, ma questa operazione viene rigettata due volte. Il giorno successivo (mercoledì) tento tramite l'help desk di Booking: sentono loro la struttura per chiedere rimborso o posticipo, ma l'host rifiuta ogni tipo di mediazione. Fallito il loro tentativo, mi suggeriscono di provare comunque a risentire direttamente il B&B, cosa che faccio immediatamente. Spiego al proprietario che cosa avevo provato a fare per cambiare le date ma senza riuscirci e chiedo se fosse possibile venirmi incontro spostando il mio soggiorno ad altro periodo. La sua risposta è stata un "no" dovuto al fatto che per lui è un lavoro (!), che ha rifiutato altre richieste per la mia prenotazione, che deve sostenere spese, ha costi per le pulizie e che ormai era troppo tardi: così sotto data la camera sarebbe rimasta invenduta. Ho sentito nuovamente Booking per ottenere almeno un rimborso parziale, ma la richiesta è stata rifiutata immediatamente dall'host.
Due to the disastrous flood in Emilia Romagna, the railway line was interrupted leaving me without a way to get to Chieti. Very few trains were still working regularly and a bus service provided those areas left without connections. In this situation Trenitalia (Italy National railway service) strongly suggested to start a journey only out of real necessity. Because of this uncertainty, 3 days before my departure I wrote to NOME ESATTO B&b that I was worried I would not be able to get there. I asked for the possibility to reschedule my stay for later whenever they had availability. They didn't reply to my email, so the following day I called them and explained my circumstances. The owner told me I had to get in touch with Booking about this because he wasn't in charge neither of cancelations nor of modifications. So firstly I tried to push back my booking till another date thru the Booking app, but I got rejected twice. That's when I called Booking help line. They were quite understanding, however they could not do much. I was told that according to their rules only the owner can decide which options to offer to a guest. They suggested to try to speak again with the b&b and so I did. This time the owner told me it was too late. He could not refund me nor reschedule my stay. He said he had expenses to pay and what's more, since the date of my supposed arrival was close, the room was likely to remain empty with a loss for him. Of course the flood was no-one's fault, but I had to change my plans because of it. I expected to be offered the possibility to stay on another date. I was not even asking for my money back. If you ever want to book this place, mind the strict cancelation policy and absolutely not friendly attitude.

Ospitalità di casa

Soggiornato per due notti in questa struttura all’interno del centro storico di Chieti. Posizione ottimale e struttura pulita e dotata dei confort necessari. Parola chiave ospitalità e gentilezza dei gestori che riescono a farti sentire come a casa.

Soggiorno perfetto

Struttura ben organizzata, pulita e attrezzata. Camera e bagno (privato) entrambi ampi e comodi. WI-FI disponibile. Colazione ottima e abbondante. A chi si lamenta del parcheggio: fateveli due passi (perché quello sono: due passi), fa bene alla salute. Meglio ancora se portando un paio di valigie. Non perdetevi un pranzo o una cena all'omonina Taverna, dove gusterete cucina tipica eccellente... e il celebre liquore dolce "Corfinio Barattucci" :)
