Tiny but comfortable!
The owners are a father and son team, and they were extremely helpful and courteous. The room was tiny, but beautifully comfortable with a spacious bathroom and a pretty patio overlooking the main "road"! AC worked well, and the bed was very comfortable. Beautiful little gem.

Almalfi off the beaten path, authentic hospitality in Cetara
We stayed in an independent apartment, a 1 minute stroll from the main B&B. There were three of us traveling together, a couple and friend. The apartment had two bedrooms, a double and a small single, plus a surprisingly comfortable double couch-bed in the kitchen/living area downstairs. The extra half-bath downstairs was convenient as well. The apartment was simple, clean, newly refurbished, and relatively well appointed.
The owner of the B&B is the engaging Eduardo. We got along just fine in our many encounters with him at the B&B and about town (it's really a small town). We ran into Eduardo as we were walking around the small port our first afternoon there and chatted for 20 minutes. Later he stopped us again to give us tea, juice and milk for the apartment. And again that evening he waved to us from a nearby café as we strolled home from dinner. It's like that: in many parts of the south and especially in smaller towns like Cetara, life plays out in the streets. There is a boisterousness and rhythm to getting things done that must be respected and admired. If you want something, you simply ask for it. And to that point, Eduardo was almost always available in person, and certainly always by phone, and insisted that we ask for whatever we might need.
Parking is tight in Cetara, and during our stay Eduardo took care of our car for us, parking it for us in a garage up from the hotel. He asked when we would want it again in the morning, and we would give him a call when we were on our way back to Cetera for the day. We pulled up to the B&B where he met us and took the car. It would be there for us again in the morning. This arrangement worked out well for us.
The B&B is located perhaps 200 meters up from the port, still very close to everything. We strolled down to the port each morning for a cappuccino at Bar Miramare, where we watched the fishermen begin their day. From the B&B, it’s less than a 5 minute walk to a number of good restaurant choices. Ristorante San Pietro and Ristorante Al Convento are both wonderful. But don’t miss lunch or dinner at Pane e Coccos', which was the most economical and personable of the three. A special nod goes to San Pietro for both their service and for baking a gluten-free (and very good) roll for a friend traveling with us who avoids gluten. Don't forget to try the spaghetti with colatura! You can also find a fantastic lemon granite at a bar called Ombelico del Mondo, hidden in small piazza on the port.
In the three days that we stayed in Cetara, we spent a half day plus evenings walking/exploring the town, one day at Ravello, and one day at Paestum. We then headed north to Naples where Eduardo called just as we arrived at our B&B there to make sure we had made it there okay! We miss him already.
