Great stay, well beyond expectations.

Having to spend three days in Castelsardo, as much as we usually prefer to stay in the hotel, we decided to opt for the bed & breakfast il Borgo, enticed by the very positive reviews. Simone, the owner, welcomed us with kindness, sympathy and attention, proving very helpful and professional.
The two double bedrooms assigned to us, on the first floor, spacious and furnished in a very functional way, were equipped with an efficient air conditioning system and television, very quiet. Even the respective bathrooms with window, have proved modern and functional, with hairdryer, storage cabinet, soap dispenser, shampoo-shower, headphones and laundry soap. Each room also has a large veranda with synthetic green lawn, armchairs and clothesline. Also available Wi-Fi. The cleanliness of the rooms and the whole environment was careful and meticulous, with daily change of towel set. Breakfast, served on the ground floor, was hearty, with fragrant sandwiches and delicious croissants, jams, butter, nutella, yoghurt, juices. Also espresso and cappuccino prepared by Simone himself. In conclusion, far above expectations. If I may, I would advise Simone , to also equip the rooms with a small computer desk.

Best B&B so far

You have to struggle to find a parking place nearby, but it's worth it. the B&B is very fresh and clean. It feels like to be in a fine hotel. It's located few minutes walking from the castle and from the beach. New baked croissant in the morning were making my day.

Top Lage, sehr sauber, etwas mürrischer Gastgeber ;-).

Super Lage nur wenige Gehminuten von Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt. Alles ist sehr sauber und neu renoviert. Im Treppenhaus riecht es noch etwas nach Farbe und Renovation, aber dies wird sich mit der Zeit geben. Das Badezimmer hat alles was es braucht und sogar ein Fenster. Die Terrasse wird, wenn alle Zimmer besetzt sind, von drei Parteien gemeinsam genutzt. Diese ist aber sehr gross und ist in drei Teile aufgeteilt, so dass man sich gut darauf aufhalten kann ohne die anderen zu stören. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber genügend um in den Tag zu starten. Preis / Leistung ist wirklich top. Einzig der Gastgeber war während drei Tagen sehr mürrisch. Schade sonst hätte ich glatt fünf Punkte = Ausgezeichnet vergeben.

Eccellente consigliatissimo

Alloggio moderno, pulito e confortevole con ottima qualità/prezzo e buona posizione. Colazione ricca, disponibile sia dolce che salato. Lo consigliamo vivamente! Simone, il proprietario, è disponibile e cortese fin dal primo momento che lo si contatta. Grazie ancora, Silvia e Elisa

Bravo Simone!

Abbiamo soggiornato soltanto una notte presso il b&b di Simone, ma il giudizio è ottimo! Camera spaziosa, ben arredata, pulitissima, dotata di aria condizionata e di una terrazza condivisa, dove però la privacy è garantita, da cui si vede il mare. Stendino in dotazione! Colazione ottima, ci sono stati serviti anche salumi e formaggi appena acquistati. Massima pulizia anche negli ambienti comuni. Simone è un ottimo padrone di casa che sa anche dare preziosi consigli. Il fatto poi di poter parcheggiare nelle immediate vicinanze e di raggiungere il centro storico in poco tempo, aggiungono valore a questa struttura!
