Recommended hotels in Lake Como

It is a small and calm hotel on a mountain, just a cable car ride from the city of Como. It was very hot and even more crowded on the shores of Lake Como in the summer months, but here in Brunate it was quiet, the night view was great and the staff were very kind. Pick-up and drop-off services are available from the cable car station. There is also a spectacular observatory after a 4-5 minute walk. The infinity pool and Jacuzzi (open until 7 p.m., but free reservations at night) were also very pleasant. The room was simple and not gorgeous, but it had a relaxing atmosphere. The adjoining restaurant was also very good and the terrace seats had a great view. The cable car to the city of Como is also available every 15 minutes, which is convenient as it arrives soon.

The Elias Honeymoon March 2025!

My husband and I stayed here on for our first stop on our honeymoon. Everyone was SUPER friendly and helpful. They have options for a more romantic feel including a night by the hot tub with glasses of wine and a nearby restaurant stay. They are not too far from downtown only a bus stop away or the funicular. The breakfast here was amazing and they have complimentary water / juice out front. They will give you a little bucket filled with slippers and essentials for the tub and pool. The views were amazing and it was truly a wonderful time here. They were also very helpful to us at the end of our stay. I cannot stress this enough, do NOT book flights etc through booking.com, you will have issues like we did. Book through a better website. Our flights and hotel stays were through
booking.com and we had to hassle for hours to figure out our flights due to booking.com not communicating with airlines. The hotel staff were super helpful as well as a nearby local who stayed up with my husband till we could get it figured out. I cannot recommend this place enough, its great for couples and for families too. You will have a great time here! Thank you Yasmine for helping us through everything and making this a special place to stay!

Many thanks to the receptionist Giulia, and the staff at the Hotel Paradiso, Como, for providing a memorable stay! Serving delicious «home made» food at their terrace, located 700 meters above the Como lake, possibly the best «lake view» you could find in the area! Added benefit was the somewhat «chilling» air at this altitude (900m), on this otherwise hot summer night in the end of June! I’ll be back, to enjoy the special, «famiglia» atmosphere and their infinity pool once more!

Magnificent

Lovely hotel with an exceptional view from the room, all the staff were attentive and very pleasant!
I find that the price is a bit high, but I feel like I am at Lake Como. These are the prices.
