I would return

We needed a place for a one-night stop in the area, and we chose this B&B considering the excellent reviews we had read.
A structure that fully satisfied us, starting from the room with a clean and welcoming private bathroom, to the excellent breakfast with fresh baked goods prepared by the kind and friendly owner.

What a wonder!

A truly special stay in Baselice, a small medieval village immersed in greenery.
We stayed at Borgo Sciugolo during the weekend and
we had a wonderful time: the village is a charming place and the rooms are comfortable, spotless, and welcoming. Despite the daytime temperature being 30 degrees, we slept with blankets at night, in a truly pleasant atmosphere.
Breakfast with homemade products from Maria Grazia was a treat: delicious cakes and great attention to every detail. We also experienced the beautiful opportunity of a masterclass to learn how to make handmade cavatelli with Mrs. Sestina, who is just 85 years old, who taught us this tradition, then cooked by Maria Grazia for dinner along with typical local dishes such as pallotte cacio e ova, typical sausage in lard, various side dishes, local wine, and an excellent homemade tiramisu.
The facility is also pet-friendly, which is very important to us. We visited the village accompanied by a guide who helped us discover Palazzo Lembo and entertained us with many stories of the area, making the visit even more fascinating.
Lunch at the affiliated restaurant was also excellent, with local products and homemade dishes.
A special mention goes to Antonio and Maria Grazia: two wonderful, kind, and attentive owners who made us feel at home. The surprise for my birthday, with the table set in the garden of the village, the cake, the candles, the sparkling wine, and the handmade blanket from a local elderly woman, was a beautiful gesture that I will cherish in my heart.
An unforgettable experience in a magical place. Highly recommended! ❤️

...not to miss it “get away “...

I had a wonderful stay in this B&B and I found the hospitality really exceptional. From the first moment I was welcomed with warmth and kindness, and every detail was taken care of carefully: think that Mrs. Maria Grazia, seen the day with bad weather when we arrived, has turned on the heat pump to ensure that the environment was warm and comfortable... CHAPEAU ! The property is lovely, surrounded by greenery in a quiet, quiet and relaxing, perfect for getting away from the daily routine. The room (with bathroom) and the living room were spotless and furnished simply but tastefully. The breakfasts prepared with fresh products and cakes (made by Mr. Maria Grazia) with the taste of home, were a real treat, always served with kindness and a smile. The staff is attentive and always ready and available to meet every need with discretion and professionalism. I highly recommend the B&B Borgo Sciugolo for those looking for an authentic experience made of sincere attention and a welcoming atmosphere. A special “compliment” also goes to the GARDEN , beautiful green corner, great place to be “at peace with the world”! A personal and immense THANKS to Mr. Maria Grazia who made me feel really welcomed and at home.

Mandatory stop in Baselice! Top!

In a characteristic place like Baselice, the corner of Borgo Sciugolo is a real paradise!
The owners of the b & b were super helpful from the time of booking, until check out, meeting our every need!
Very special place, rooms with attention to detail and top breakfast!
Cleanliness, friendliness and kindness make everything even more beautiful!
If you are in Baselice, impossible not to stay in Borgo Sciugolo, super recommended!
