A "reserve of serenity"...

There are places that time does not touch and that continue to guard the same capacity to welcome and to give serenity.
The first time we arrived here our daughter, Chiara, was not even a year old; today she is almost thirteen, and every return keeps the same emotion intact: that of finding a peace that regenerates.
For us this place, in beloved Assisi, represents a precious parenthesis of quiet after a year of work and inevitable worries.
The days spent here become memories that accompany the time to come: a sort of "reserve of serenity" to draw from in the months that follow and an invitation to look at daily life with greater lightness.
Thank you for your courtesy, for the attention and for the care with which, year after year, you make every stay special. With God's help, we hope to be able to return again, because there are places that continue "with simplicity" to inhabit the heart.

Le Querce di Assisi: peace and tranquility assured, an almost obligatory destination!

This year we were "tired" of the usual sea, and therefore we wanted something that would regenerate us physically and mentally: so we chose to go to that magnificent region, rich in history, landscapes and culinary art that is Umbria.
Wandering and looking at various reviews on Tripadvisor, we noticed this wonderful (on paper) farm. Requesting availability, we promptly received a positive result from the cordial and very kind Romina.
Arrived at the destination, we could not help but notice that what was described and reviewed was little compared to the beautiful location.
In the woods a few kilometers from Assisi, convenient for every car journey you want to make, an incredible peace, equipped with swimming pool and whirlpool, with an incredible peace and tranquility, is the ideal place for those who want a moment to get away from the chaotic and frenetic that unfortunately grips us.
The rooms (with private bathroom) are spotless, beautiful and equipped with television and wifi), do not have air conditioning as it is not necessary, given the beautiful climate (and one of the lower Po Valley tells you).
Breakfasts, served by Cinzia (very kind and friendly) range from homemade cakes with genuine products and also home-made eesi (all made by Cinzia herself) to typical Umbrian products (cold cuts and cheeses on cutting boards).
A small, but not to be underestimated, hint on prices: more than honest!!
What else to say, a destination to do more than a thought: for us it was really a beautiful experience and maybe a place to return.

Carissimi Sergio e Barbara, leggere questa recensione ci ha colpiti moltissimo tanto da lasciarci senza parole; ci siamo infatti presi qualche giorno per rispondervi perché l’emozione è stata tanta.
Siamo felici che vi siate trovati bene che il posto vi sia piaciuto e che i servizi vi abbiano soddisfatto in pieno.
Il vostro sguardo però è andato oltre il lavoro che tutti i giorni svolgiamo per rendere le vacanze dei nostri ospiti belle e rilassanti ed è proprio per questo che ci avete emozionati.
Siete riusciti a trovare il cuore che quotidianamente mettiamo in tutto ciò
che facciamo dall’accogliervi al preparare la colazione al sistemare i vostri alloggi.
In questo mondo “virtuale” in cui viviamo purtroppo si tende a dare più importanza alle cose per come appaiono, alla loro confezione piuttosto che al loro significato e si rischia di dare per scontato ciò che ci circonda.
Grazie quindi a voi perché avete colto l’essenza del nostro lavoro e ce lo avete detto con queste bellissime parole.

Our happy place

It was our fourth visit to this wonderful Villaggio nel Bosco. The first time we came our girls were still very young. We loved the quiet, the beautiful nature, the fantastic swimming pool, but most of all the friendly atmosphere in which we as a family were able to explore the place, cuddle the animals, chat with the kind owner and her family/staff. Now our girls are teenagers. They still love coming here. We see them transform! They forget about their phones and have so much fun in the swimming pool, running around with the house dog, playing with the kittens and exploring the riverside. We have quality family time here and really find peace and rest. The restaurant is lovely, local dishes and the odd Sicilian (amazing) specialty because of the owner's roots. We also tried breakfast this year and it was a real treat with various cakes and biscuits freshly baked and still warm out of the oven.
The buildings seem to blend into the landscape, made out of natural stones with large wooden beams. The furniture is beautiful and rustic, obviously carefully picked. Rosalba, the owner, and her family have always been very welcoming and kind. Romina, who works at reception, is an absolute treasure. But also the other staff are very helpful and friendly. My husband is ill and cannot walk very well. We have received all possible assistance from everyone to make his stay as restful as possible. When you decide to book (and you won't regret it!), you can choose appartments or rooms. We as a family are always very happy in the appartments because it gives us a chance to cook for ourselves and go out or stsy in as we please. Even though there are lots of great places to visit nearby, we tend to spend a lot of time on the premises, because it is simply too beautiful. Thank you so much everyone for another great holiday!

A wonderful place to stay.

We stayed in June and loved our time there.
The family who own the establishment are wonderful - very hospitable and welcoming.
The breakfast is great, and the rooms clean and comfortable.
Could not recommend more.

Good, well-priced agri-tourism

This agri-tourism is just outside of Assisi in the middle of lovely countryside in Umbria. Rooms are quite rustic, but the price reflects that. There is no air-con but reception gave us a big fan. It was a cool night despite it being mid-July and we all slept well. No wifi in the rooms, only around reception and then not that good. The pool was very nice, with a kids area and kids pool too. Towels for the pool were extra. Despite emailing a request for dinner, we arrived to find that the restaurant was closed - so didn't get a chance to try out the food. Breakfast was ok in the morning.This place is quite basic, great views etc but had a bit of a holiday camp feel to it.
