Wonderful BnB in Acri

We had a great stay at Sandro Pertini. The cafe bar downstairs is beautiful. The rooms are very clean and large with a lot of light and the bathrooms modern with tasteful tile and finishes. We had a balcony overlooking the street which was a great place watch Acri do its thing, very quiet at night. Check in was easy with the teenage daughter along to help with translation.
But really what makes this place exceptional is the staff. The owner Alessandro went so far out of his way to help us track down ancestors from Acri. He did that very Italian thing - he called a cousin - who had some connection to the family we were searching. Antonio spent half a day driving us to city hall and the library where the librarians pulled out ancient birth records for us. We felt so welcomed.
Acri was a surprise. The museum of contemporary art is a hidden jewel. We found a great apperitivo bar and gorgeous pizza restaurant. The cafe bar in the BnB is popular with great coffee and drinks and a really nice bartender barista.

Or called to get information and book a room but you could not hear anything call on WhatsApp and the gentleman without even letting me talk told me verbatim words you broke the balls... Congratulations the gentleman knows how to work and treat customers

Not a Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I had planned to stay for three nights but only stayed one. The rooms are on the third floor above a bar on the first floor and a restaurant/party room on the second floor. The partying started about 8 PM and went on until at least 2 AM with many teenagers and adults. Screaming teenagers, singing, shouting, loud noisy patrons went on forever. The B&B refused to refund two unusable nights. There is no pool, no gym, they speak no English (which is fine if they don’t advertise multiple languages). We were confirmed a first floor, quiet room but such a thing does not exist.

Nice spot in town center

The venue had a great location in the epicenter of town. The room was spacious and comfortable, conveniently located above the 19.1 cafe downstairs. Breakfast was included as part of the room, and the combination presented a good value.
The cafe had good small plates offerings as part of dinner and seemed like a go-to place where people tended to congregate, particularly at night but really throughout the day. It was a perfect home base for a reasonable price to visit family during my stay in Acri.

Excellent B&B- great service, lovely rooms and warm service

Fantastic stay during a family heritage trip to Acri. The owners and staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms are hip as is the bar and coffee bar. We met many locals which added to the ambulance of the B&B and helped us learn about the area and find relatives. Highly recommend and we plan to rerun next year!
