City Centre

Mapusa residency is located in the heart of the city Mapusa. It is just opposite the Mapusa bus depot. This hotel consists of room, banquet, conference Hall and bar cum restaurant. This hotel is clean. The staff are good. They provide room service.

Not Bad if you overlook minor details....

Stayed here for 4 nights in a Suite room. Checkin was quick, but reception staff and manager all grumpy. Guess working for a Govt run Property, its a I care a damn attitude. The suite ( grossly painted in dark PINK, with walls peeling off) was spacious, had a living room, and a large bedroom. Old sofas which have not been cleaned for ages, a TV that hardly has any channels, No tea/coffee maker, No fridge. Old falling apart a/c, but it worked all the 5 days. Rooms were cleant daily, free cold water to fill outside, spacious toilet with Hot water and the saving grace was a good reasonably priced restaurant with a bar and room service. Dont ever expect a late checkout, they will straight away say NO.. Opposite Mapusa Market, great for shopping, and you can hire bikes there for 300 a day. Calangute beach is a good 30 minutes ride on your bike. For the price, its an OK place to stay in if you overlook the grumpy staff, late checkout request, old furniture, no channels on TV, peeling of PINK walls and just want a place to stay in... And you want to be in MAPUSA bazar area...

Centrally located budget hotel

Best budget friendly hotel located in the heart of Mapusa city. Bus & Taxi/Auto stand are right in front of hotel. Also Thivim railway station is 9 kms from hotel. It's a Goa tourism hotel. Property is old but maintained well by GTDC.
Rooms are clean & pretty spacious equipped with LED satellite TV (all channels are available), electric geyser, AC, fan, centre table & chairs, dressing table, wardrobe, etc. Each room has an individual balcony. Toilets are neat & clean. They provide clean towels & 2 bathing soaps as toiletries. The bed & mattress are comfortable with clean bedsheets and pillows. Staff are polite and courteous. 24 hours security & ample parking space is there.
They have an in-house restaurant & bar (Kubers Kitchen) which serves authentic & tasty Goan, North Indian & South Indian delicacies. Goan special fish thali is a must try. Veg biryani, paneer tikka masala, Goan style prawns masala & curry, prawns chilly, infact all delicacies were good. Taste, quality & quantity is awesome at a reasonable price.
Overall a satisfactory and comfortable stay. Highly recommended if you are not much interested in plush interiors and are more concerned with your budget.

Clean and affordable hotel

The Mapusa Residency is located in a great area, close to the markets, the bus stand and the taxi and auto stands.
It's very basic but wonderfully clean.
They have an In house restaurant that has some superb food and the staff are always so willing to cater to your needs. We were served by Philip, Nilesh and Vikas who were great at their jobs and always wore smiles!

Needs a quick Check in System

The people who help around,staff are quite good the check in needs to be worked on really irritating to sit in the waiting area waiting for your room to be done up,a budget place and reasonable pricing,they should have a complimentary breakfast for in house customers at least some basic tea coffee,Rooms should have a small mini bar and attached kitchette as its not possible to always eat out since we are regular for the past two decades
