Magic Ashwem ❤️
We rested in March! Very pleasant place , beautiful small courtyard , everything very well maintained , the room was on the second floor (indian on the ground ) they have floors counted from the roof ) . On the balcony you could listen to the sea and birdsong in the morning !! The room itself is large but the closet is small, things were kept in suitcases open. Bed linen is of course time to change, everything has worn out. Bathroom regular, fan when turned on frighteningly first minutes squealing, then normal. At the Hotel Café , loved to snack on tomato soup , and Greek and chicken , in Indian way ) . The sea across the street, went through Hotel Palma! There just to the left and stayed on sunbeds, a big plus that the hotel is European and even had a guard. We left things quietly and walked and swam. Nor could any merchant come to us. The guards immediately kicked out, and the merchants we had 3 people, everyone knew to face ) great holiday , great hotel - there is something to work on !!!

Comfortable and safe
Excellent Hotel 2**
We rested from March 17-27, 2025.
Breakfast: egg, porridge, pancakes, salad, toast, butter, jam, tea and coffee (the kitchen is clean, I checked).
Room: clean, but all old. Cleaned every other day on request (you must leave the key at reception in the morning) , give 1 bottle of water per day.
Territory: clean and neat, not walking around, but comfortable.
Room: air conditioning, fan, wardrobe, safe with key in wardrobe, mirror, bed, blackout curtains, table and two armchairs, shower, toilet, sink, mirror, has balcony. Sockets work (no adapters needed)
Security and reception 24/7.
The lights were turned off a couple of times in Ashwem village, immediately the diesel generator is turned on.
The hotel is on the 2nd line, on the first line better hotels and with sunbeds on the beach. You can stay there all day (especially liked Palma) - you can't with your alcohol, you need to buy drinks and food from them, then you have no problem being on the sunbed all day.
Near the hotel (right) is a great market with currency exchange (10:00-22:00).
The sea is clean, calm, there are dogs on Ashwem beach, but no cows.

In Asia for the first time and I believe we went to Goa for good reason
Nice hotel with good-natured staff!Everything is,in walking distance,and the sea and exchange and taxi.The hotels are clean and comfortable.Recommended!The Arabian Sea with tides,is something!The food in the coastal cafes is hearty and not expensive.

Nice property opposite the beautiful Ashvem beach
We had a nice and comfortable stay here. Beautiful and affordable cottages on the mandrem road but not noisy.
Beautiful garden like ambience and all services very good.
As you walk out of the hotel...across the road walk down the lane and you are on beach.
Poursh area, beautiful and clean beach with lot of good options to dineout. Restris and shacks... Candle light dinner at the beach with music.
We had few Meals from inhouse restaurant too which were really tasty.
Large rooms with good aircons and balcony on both sides.. toiletries and fresh towels provided.
Will certainly recommend for couples and families.
Suggestions
Hot kettle should be provided in all rooms and fridge if possible as you have quiet big size rooms.

Clean, Helpful Staff, Good Medium-Budget Place
Pros: 1. Professional, cooperative, friendly Staff from pre-Reservation, during Stay to Checkout - quick responses on Whatsapp/email, helpful with extra requests
2. Clean, well maintained rooms & lawns
3. Reasonable Prices - since North Goa is more expensive & crowded than South
4. Resort restaurant food is OK-Good
Cons: (pls note these issues are not directly related to the Resort) 1. If you need to go around - expensive & inconvenient to get Taxis. They are available but quote very high Fares (Rs 1000 approx for a 1 way, 12 kms distance). And the unfriendly Taxi Group/Union actve here doesnt allow other Taxis to pick up Guests. No Bike Taxis or Autos available
2. Its not immediately on the Beach - but very close, around 100 or 150m, short 3 min downhill walk.
3. Not a good choice of Restaurants close by - there are many options & Shacks but not so good. There are better options within few kms away but tough to walk with family in the Heat or night
