Best Hotel Experience in Leh
Hello Travellers,
I must say had a very delighted experience by the hotel and staff and in particular Karma Ji (Manager) at the hotel mandala
1. Very Curious and gave right information of nearby places
2. Gave affordable guide of what can do and what do we do on our trip
3. Shared contact details and connect with friendly support staff
4. Really cares for every customer needs. Really like his property
5. Though not needed but saw all medical equipment including oxygen concentrate on reception which is available 24/7
Once again Karma Ji thank you for being a host and making our trip memorable

Worst Hotel Stay: Poor Service and Amenities
The rooms were extremely basic and lacked proper curtains, allowing excessive sunlight to enter the room. The washroom was not cleaned properly and appeared outdated. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, feeling as hard as a rock, and the housekeeping service was atrocious. Additionally, the bathroom's design allowed anyone in the corridor to peep inside, which is a significant privacy concern.
The food offered was very basic and of poor quality. Even something as simple as tea was poorly made, often having too much milk or sugar. When I provided feedback, the response was dismissive, stating that this is how the kitchen staff prepares it and nothing could be done.
Furthermore, the constant barking of dogs throughout the night and the noise from people walking and talking outside made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The overall sleep comfort was very poor.

Wonderful experience
Clean accommodation with spacious rooms.Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. Food quality was great and service was attentive and responsive.
I am very pleased with my stay here and hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Discriminatory Treatment by Hotel Manager
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding an incident that occurred during my recent stay at your hotel.
On 13th June, while I was waiting to check in, the hotel manager, Rizwan Yaqub, blatantly disregarded my presence and checked in other guests who arrived after me. Despite my patience and attempts to get his attention, he continued to prioritize other guests without any explanation or acknowledgment. This behaviour felt discriminatory and unprofessional. As a paying customer, I expected to be treated with respect and fairness. Unfortunately, my experience with your hotel's management fell far short of these basic standards.
Furthermore, when we finally checked into the room, I was appalled to find insects and a general lack of cleanliness. The room did not meet the basis hygiene standards, which impacted our stay. Overall, the experience at your hotel was extremely disappointing, and I will never recommend it to others.

Please dun waste your money on these cheaters and liars
After a gruelling 10 hr drive we were searching for something to crash and rest for the day and so apporached the reception, the staff showed us the rooms and for the price quoted by him we felt the rooms were okayish to stay the night, but when we went back to checkin there was some other staffer more ill mannered than the previous one but that aside, The new staff member told us that the price quoted by the first attendant was wrong and actual price was actually more than double of what we agreed with the first staff.
We were taken aback and called the staff who agreed on the prices, and he blatantly refused of quoting us the price the first time. To us it seemed some sort of a fraud scheme to get more money from us weary travellers so we did not stay there and took our luggage and searched for a different hotel
So would urge you not to waste your time, money and dignity in this hotel.
