Value for money

We stayed here for 3 days and had a good time. The resort is very basic but clean and hospitable. Their manager, Rakesh, does an excellent job and goes out of his way to engage with guests and make your stay comfortable. Expect basic but freshly prepared reasonable food which is customisable. There are other food options available at walking distance. There is a very good view of Tirthan river and while it's not accessible directly from the resort but is a short walk away. In summary, amongst the available options in Tirthan this is a good place to stay.

Resort alongside Tirthan river

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel River Walk in Banjar. The resort is beautifully located alongside the Tirthan River, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. We stayed in a cottage with two master beds, and the room was very spacious and comfortable for a family of four. The bathroom was clean and well maintained, with 24-hour hot water available.
The cottage also had a lovely sit-out area with a beautiful view of the Tirthan Valley, making it a perfect place to relax.
A special mention for the manager, Rakesh, who was extremely polite, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. He and his team responded promptly to all our needs. Rakesh also helped us plan a wonderful sightseeing itinerary and arranged a driver at very reasonable rates.
The food served at the resort was delicious, and the chef prepared excellent local as well as continental dishes. Overall, it was a very pleasant and memorable stay, and we would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Tirthan Valley.

Phenomenal

Our stay in river walk was absolutely fantastic.
The rooms were absolute heaven .
The staff was kind , polite and attentive.
The catering was top notch with 5 star service and magnificent views.
The reception section just needs to be revamped that’s it ……
All thanks to Rakesh Thakur ( hotel manager).
His attitude towards us was impressive and he also took extra attention towards our comfort

Scenic Stay by the Tirthan River – A Relaxing Experience!

Our stay at The Riverwalk Resort, Tirthan Valley was truly memorable. The resort is beautifully located right on the banks of the Tirthan River, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful ambiance. We stayed in a charming wooden hut, which added to the cozy mountain experience. The resort also provided electric mattresses, ensuring a warm and comfortable stay even in chilly weather.
One of the highlights of our visit was the exceptional hospitality—the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The availability of ample parking space was another plus, making it convenient for travelers driving to the resort.
However, the food was a bit disappointing. While the meals were decent, the lack of local Himachali cuisine was a letdown. It would have been great to experience some authentic regional flavors.
Overall, our stay was fantastic, and the stunning views right from our room made it even more special. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway by the river with warm hospitality, this is a great choice!

I hated the trip because of this resort

Worst stay ever.i dint enjoy at all.looks good in photos it is terrible in reality I would recommend another hotel to stay in.they changed are room in the middle of the stay even though we booked that room.they shifted us in terrible room and charged extra.TERRIBLE STAY!!!
