Desa Eko sijaitsee kohteessa Munduk. Kulttuurikohteista kiinnostuneiden kannattaa lisätä Bulelengin museo ja Gedong Kertyan museo ja kirjasto listalleen, ja joihinkin alueen muihin nähtävyyksiin kuuluu Balin maatila ja Balin kasvitieteellinen puutarha. Bloomsin puutarha ja Krisna Funtastic Landin huvipuisto ovat myös vierailun arvoisia. Ravintola, baari/aulabaari ja kahvila kuuluvat tämän savuttoman hostellin palveluihin. Käytössäsi on ilmainen langaton internetyhteys julkisissa tiloissa, omatoiminen pysäköinti sekä ilmainen paikallinen aamiainen.Lisäksi majoituspaikassa on kahvi-/teetarjoilu julkisissa tiloissa, pyykinpesutilat ja kiertoajelu-/lippupalvelu. Pyyhkeiden vaihto on saatavilla pyynnöstä Desa Eko tarjoaa 6 huonetta, joissa on ilmaiset minibaarituotteet ja tallelokero (johon mahtuu kannettava tietokone). Vuoteissa on ylelliset vuodevaatteet. Tämä hostelli tarjoaa asiakkailleen huonehintaan sisältyvän langattoman internetyhteyden. Lisäksi huoneissa on ilmainen pullovesi ja ilmaiset hygieniatuotteet. Pyyhkeiden vaihto ja lakanoiden vaihto ovat saatavilla pyynnöstä. Siivous on saatavilla päivittäin. Seuraavat aktiviteetit ovat saatavilla joko paikan päällä tai sen lähistöllä, ja ne saattavat olla maksullisia. Paikallisten säädösten mukaan kaikkien asiakkaiden on pysyttävä majoituspaikan tiloissa hiljaisuuden päivänä (Nyepi) / hindulaisena uutenavuotena 24 tunnin ajan (alkaen klo 6.00). Hiljaisuuden päivä on tavallisesti maaliskuussa tai huhtikuussa (päivämäärä vaihtelee vuosittain). Sisään- tai uloskirjautuminen ei ole tuona päivänä mahdollista. Myös Ngurah Rain kansainvälinen lentoasema (Densaparin kansainvälinen lentoasema) on suljettu hiljaisuuden päivänä.

Bucket List Experience!!
The property is large and there are A LOT of steep steps - I counted 70 from my tent to the restaurant and 100 from my tent to the yoga platform. Therefore, not the place for those with mobility issues or for small children. But that change in elevation creates amazing views. In the evening, after taking in all the stars in the vast sky, the sound of the river and critters is nature's white noise, resulting in a beautiful deep sleep.
The staff were awesome and the restaurant was fantastic (I'll do a separate review). I used the yoga platform several times - gorgeous setting, but the yoga mats need to be replaced. I also used their driver to get to and from, which I would recommend.
Truly, a soul-restoring experience.

Beautiful setting, but overpriced for what you get
Desa Eko is beautifully located, surrounded by nature with lovely views. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It was my birthday during our stay and they made a real effort to make it feel special, which I really appreciated.
Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t live up to the expectations created by the price and the way Desa Eko is presented online. Ultimately, it is quite a basic glamping/camping experience. The tents are close together, so there is less privacy and sense of freedom than the photos suggest. Most accommodations don’t have private bathrooms, the shared facilities are very basic, and our showers were cold.
The restaurant/reception area is also very simple and the food was average. There are so many places in Bali where you can eat much better. Given the premium positioning, I expected the food and restaurant to be part of the special experience as well.
The owners have done a great job with the concept, branding and storytelling — it looks and sounds magical online. But for us, the reality simply didn’t justify the premium price.
With a more modest price, I would rate Desa Eko quite differently. Beautiful surroundings and lovely staff, but overall overpriced and overrated.

The worst experience in Bali
When we arrived, we were told that the bathroom was actually shared. The breakfast is extremely poor—they cut corners on everything. It’s barely enough for a bird.
If you’re staying in one of the tents, you have to be very careful where you leave your belongings because water leaks in everywhere.
If you want to sit at a table in the restaurant, good luck. There are far too many tents and guests, but far too few tables, so you often have to stand while eating.
To get to the shared bathroom, you have to walk for several minutes. To get to our tent, we had to walk underneath other tents. This hotel makes absolutely no sense.
It rained in the evening, water got into the tent, and our clothes were soaked. When we woke up, there was literally a pool of water on the floor.
This hotel deserves no more than one star. As for the service, I would give it only half a star.

Better and cheaper elsewhere
Being aware of the rates and its evolution over time (thanks to the host for not taking his guests for ignorant), it is indeed very easy for me to judge by spending nearly 150 nights of hotels a year for 40 years
That said, the views of the tents are beautiful. The host should try to justify the criticisms of the guests by answering them rather than using a pseudo low-level philosophy,
Being a hotelier means accepting criticism and taking it into account rather than trying to mock the client
