Unforgettable Birthday Celebration — The Ascott Makati Team Is Simply the Best!
Our overnight stay at Ascott Makati on August 9–10 exceeded every expectation. We were celebrating a family birthday and booked two rooms — a Two-Bedroom and a Studio Deluxe — both of which were beautiful, roomy, and spotlessly clean.
From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless. Check-in was warm and efficient, room service was quick and satisfying, and the housekeeping team kept our rooms immaculate throughout. The gym and steam room were excellent as well — clean, well-equipped, and a great way to unwind.
What truly touched us was the thoughtful birthday surprise. The team decorated with balloons and presented us with a cake, turning an ordinary overnight stay into a heartfelt celebration our family will always remember.
I want to extend a heartfelt commendation to the entire Ascott Makati staff. Every single team member — from the front desk to housekeeping, room service, the gym attendants, and the check-out team — delivered genuine, world-class hospitality. Your professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed and made all the difference. Thank you for making our celebration so special.

What a let down
stayed here for one night and I was disappointed. Staff, location and main areas are 5 star but the quality of the room wasn't.
I've not had a bathroom of such bad quality in years (struggling to remember how long). Never in a 5 star hotel that's for sure.
This was supposedly a suite so was expecting something way better than the room provided.
No shower cubicle and the hand held (not from ceiling) had a bath curtain with half missing rungs, broken and chipped tiles.
The doorway had loose bits of concrete on the floor, carpet with paint marks around the woodwork, router just left under the table hanging onto the floor.
The ac kept spitting out black stuff which was marking the bedding.
The bedroom was nice and comfortable beds but the bathroom was shocking for a 5 star hotel. When booking a suite it's normal to have a sitting area along with the sleeping area, this was simple a bedroom with separate bathroom.
Thankfully I was only staying one night to catch my flight next day or I would have moved rooms or hotel.
I was debating if the rooms were actually 2 star as the bed was comfortable but this quality is not 5 star accommodation.
I stayed at the Fairmont just a few weeks ago and the quality was absolutely fantastic, full 5 star for around 30 usd a night more.
I feel pretty deceived - definitely not 5 star accommodation, not a suite, awful bathroom, unhealthy AC unit.

Excellent customer service and great location
Stayed here for a month. The best part was the extremely friendly, accommodating and considerate staff overall, and especially at Mesclun Restaurant and Cafe. Special thank you to Kenneth for breakfast chats and always remembering my coffee preference. Will come back just for the breakfast.
The location is also very convenient with access to shops, MRT and parks.

Location is fantastic. Can’t say anything bad about it.

The 3 bd suite was very comfortable as a family and happy that we had a washing machine! Small kitchen great to have.
Value of money is great with what is offered, coupled with a friendly and positive customer service by all the staff encountered, including the restaurant next to the pool.
Despite this being an older hotel, it was very clean, even the bathrooms!
Atmosphere was relaxing and calm.
The 3 bd suite was very comfortable as a family and happy that we had a washing machine! Small kitchen great to have.
Value of money is great with what is offered, coupled with a friendly and positive customer service by all the staff encountered, including the restaurant next to the pool.

Wonderful experience
The food has been very good and the staff very attentive. Lorenz helped me to choose the food and was very attentive throughout the meal. The service was very quick too.
