Lovely week at the Bourke.

Cracking place in walking distance of most major tourist spots. Large rooms. Big beds. Has 2 brilliant restaurants. The brambles bakery for brekky and it is 5 star. On the evening they have a really cool Mexican restaurant called Mamamita which is immense. Lovely cocktail and food. Immense service. If I could score 4.5 I would. Only giving 4 as the hotel could be modernised a bit and the Internet was unreliable. Also there was work going on during the day which affected water supply and was noisy.

Hotel is close to attractions and breakfast food is served appetizingly.

Boutique Beauty in Davao: Stylish, Cozy, and Instagram-Ready

If you’re the type who loves boutique stays with personality, The Bourke Hotel is a hidden gem right in the heart of Davao City.
I was traveling solo for business and didn’t want a generic hotel. I wanted something warm, charming, and well-designed. The Bourke delivered on all fronts.
Check-in was smooth, the staff were genuinely kind, and when I walked into my room, I was greeted with a slice of chocolate cake and a red velvet square. Such a thoughtful welcome, and honestly, a sign of how well they pay attention to details.
The room was spacious and well laid out. It had a big comfy bed, a proper work desk, an open shelf cabinet, a full mirror, and a mini coffee station with a fridge. The bathroom was clean. Even though the hallway outside is open air, it wasn’t noisy at all. I slept really well.
The hotel itself is also incredibly photogenic. Whether you’re into weddings, lifestyle shoots, or just like beautiful backdrops for your feed, this place is perfect. Warm lighting, well-curated corners, and a relaxed boutique vibe. It’s a rare find in a city hotel.
You’ve also got great food options right on-site. Bramble, just outside the lobby, serves delicious breakfast and bakes their own bread. Bondi & Bourke, a well-known restaurant in Davao, is also here and is run by a hands-on Australian chef. Then there’s Mamacita next door, a lively spot for Mexican comfort food.
Stylish, intimate, and thoughtfully run, The Bourke feels like a boutique hotel done right. I’ll definitely be back.

The breakfast included was the best breakfast ever. Top quality food and service worth at least 30% of the room cost or more. Highly recommend this properly

all flights from iloilo was cancelled last night due to mt
kanlaon volcanic erruption and were stuck here in iloilo .. i requested for free cancellation but they were so unkind not to cancel my booking !!!
