Banquet Service Evaluation
As one of the staff organizers of a Seminar-Workshop held at Bai Hotel on August 19–21, 2026, with almost 600 participants, the banquet team faced a challenging start during the first-day lunch service. Given the unexpectedly large number of attendees, the team was understandably overwhelmed by the volume of participants, particularly in managing the food service, crowd movement, and overall flow of the banquet. Despite these initial challenges, the team remained composed, responsive, and receptive to feedback and recommendations.
As the succeeding banquets took place, the team demonstrated significant improvement in coordination, preparation, communication, and crowd management. The concerns encountered during the first-day lunch were properly identified and addressed. Adjustments were made to the service arrangement, team coordination, and movement of participants, resulting in a more systematic and efficient flow of food service. The succeeding banquets became noticeably smoother, with better organization and quicker response to the needs and concerns of the participants.
Special commendation is given to Team Leaders IKE, Feh, Nino, and Joshua for their hands-on leadership, teamwork, and effective management of the situation. They actively monitored the banquet operations, listened to concerns, coordinated closely with their staff, and immediately implemented necessary adjustments. Their presence and leadership helped the team remain focused and responsive, particularly during periods of high volume and pressure.
The team also demonstrated a positive attitude toward feedback and showed a willingness to learn from the challenges encountered during the initial banquet. Rather than allowing the difficulties to affect the succeeding services, they used the experience to improve their approach and strengthen coordination among team members.
Overall, the banquet team demonstrated adaptability, professionalism, teamwork, responsiveness, and commitment to service excellence. Although the large number of participants presented significant operational challenges, the team's ability to recognize concerns, make timely adjustments, and improve its performance contributed greatly to the smooth and organized flow of the succeeding banquets.
The commendable efforts of the entire banquet team, particularly Team Leaders IKE, Feh, Nino, and Joshua, played an important role in ensuring that the participants were properly accommodated and that the succeeding banquet services were delivered more efficiently. Served with a smile
The service it self was good... anything that requested was given to us at haste, e.g. extra tissue, extra utensil. The staff served us with a smile, which really added to the experience

It was a pleasant stay.
Just a small note: in room 637 the shower floor doesn’t slope enough toward the drain, so water tends to puddle near the sink.
