Unique place. Better attention.

Visiting the Royal Monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet is to enter one of the most majestic and well-preserved monastic ensembles in Europe, a place where history, spirituality and art coexist in perfect harmony. If you have the opportunity to stay at the Hostatgeria you will find a modern, simple place with great customer service. Really worried about the stay being unique.

It's a three-star.

The reception girl is very friendly. It has a reading and meeting room. The unbeatable place.But the wooden floor creaks a lot and between the pieces sneaks dirt, some dust and unclean glass into the room, the bathroom somewhat small and the decoration very austere and monastic, although due to the environment it is understood.

Simple but excellent hotel

Looking for accommodation in the area, we saw the lodging and convinced us. Not only because we could use it geographically, but also because we saw the Poblet Monastery as worthwhile.
In Tarragona, but already close to the province of Lleida, this lodging is located, in the same enclosure as the monastery. It is a simple, monastic, but modern hotel with everything very careful.
We slept in a very comfortable way, very quiet and with everything you need to spend the night.
The staff at the hotel are really friendly.

The accommodation that makes the visit to Poblet a 10

Excellent location within the monastery area with newly decorated rooms and a staff that gladly caters to any request for info.
Full breakfast and the rest has a menu with a good value for money.

Deception

We were disappointed by our stay, especially considering the price paid. Several elements were not up to the task: very little water pressure in the bathroom, no air conditioning despite the heat, broken mosquito nets, and noise pollution due to the elevator. The setting remains pleasant, but the overall comfort does not match our expectations.
