loved this place

This apartment was recently remodeled as of the time of this writing and was very clean and comfortable as well as being ideally situated. It has a washing machine and dishwasher. There is a grocery store on the corner of the roundabout and a cafe just around the corner from there. Linens are included. It is a short walk to the to the Med Sea and the Vila Vella or fort on the hill. Carmen the manager was very sweet and helpful. Parking is not provided but is easy to find on the other side of the roundabout. We were so fortunate in that the apartment and it's balcony over look the main street through which the 12 kings parade goes. It was a special treat for us to witness this Spanish Christmas tradition quite by accident. Thanks to Carmen for telling us about it. Of all the seaside places on the costa brava we visited, Tossa was our favorite. We live on the ocean in North Carolina so seaside resorts are no big deal for us but the walled point and the views from there make this place special. BUT don't come here in the summer unless you like crowds. We were very happy to be here in January with highs in the mid 50's F. One may or may not find this helpful but there is a library not far away where you can print things like Barcelona passes which inexplicably have to printed to redeem. You have to pay for the internet time. Just remember everything is in Catalan! Oh did I mention there is a statue of Ava Gardner in the Vila? Cool.

Ne loué pas là si vous aimé la tranquilité

Ne pas loué si vous aimé la tranquillité ! Bruyant la nuit ! Impossible de dormir !
Heureusement que l’accueil de Brigitte était exemplaire.
La localisation est excellente par contre. Mais si vous voulez dormir
PAisiblement , n’y allez pas !
