Very nice experience

Hotel Nuria is as promised: Very good. We booked two "de luxe with pool view". They were nicely, if sparsely decorated. Large comfortable bathrooms. Both looked recently renovated (as in the last year). Everything clean. The pool view gave the expected payoff: very nicely quiet no traffic noise. Not that we wanted to sleep with open windows in the hot and humid august weather. They do have rooms towards the street which is a troughfare.
Personaly the breakfast wasn't my favourite but the rest of my family did not agree. The on-site restaurant had a excellent set menu for lunch and also excellent tapas for the evening meal. Everything they had was excellent.
The location is in a residential area and very practical if you arrive by car: not in the city center. In mid august in the days around the solar eclipse we were able to find street parking easily. The old town was a 20 minute walk or 4 minutes by taxi. And two supermarkets a 5 minute walk along Via Augista. There are busses which we did not take. It's a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach. ... Bring your own towels and paraphanelia: there was nothing to rent.
The reception staff was very friendly, helpful and engaged. And knew english well.
After drinks and tapas one evening we had a short chat with a dutch couple. The man had been comming to Hotel Nuria every summer since he was 12, he was surely in his 60'ies now and said he knew of a family that had been comming for 3 generations.

Sun, beach, and good weather

For the third consecutive year, we have returned to the hotel for a week in June.
The truth is that the hotel is very well connected to the center and especially to the beach, which is very close. There is also a cafe nearby that has very delicious things; it is called "Moments".
The hotel pool is very quiet both in the morning and in the afternoon.
If one has to find a fault.
Last year we already had problems with the elevator; I had to be pulled out of it, and this year it also broke down for several days; one day the power went out, but nothing of importance. I think they could fix both the elevator and the electrical installation.
If we return to Tarragona, we will surely return to the hotel.

Small hotel with great potential

We chose it by pure chance. And no choice was more fitting. Free parking in front of the hotel, small rooms with a terrace but very quiet and clean, stellar bathroom, air conditioning with fans. 5 minutes from the sea and 20 minutes, also on foot, from the center of Tarragona. Many little places nearby to eat, good food at reasonable prices. Worth repeating.

Disappointing beach hotel

What was supposed to be a week of peaceful vacation at a beach hotel turned into an odyssey of moving from one room to another hotel.
The breakfast was of poor quality, the restaurant service was not very professional, the room I was given was not properly cleaned (it looked like it hadn't been touched in months), and the shower drain had a gelatinous substance, possibly to prevent pests. Additionally, that night, the room across from mine did not allow me to rest. Until the receptionist resolved the issue. I left that same day.
I made a formal complaint, and the management team (responded Santi Hernando) indicated that my claim had no basis. However, they refunded the reservation for the days not enjoyed.
I wanted to personally discuss what happened. But, they replied that their time was precious and, it seems, that people on vacation have all the time in the world to complain and waste time on various bureaucracies.

Great hotel choice for me.. 24 hour reception.
Swimming pool in sunshine until mid afternoon.
Helpful and welcoming receptionists.
My room was spacious and had a balcony to sit out on with a great view.
Nice modern shower.
Decent breakfast buffet with cooked eggs,meats, cheeses, fruit etc .
Great display of model Le Mans cars by the dining area for motor racing fans.
Plsant suburban location 5 minutes walk from great sandy beach and 5 minutes walk from 3 big supermarkets and a few cafes.
Hotel is a bit out of the main town ,15 minute walk or short bus ride to old town which has lots of character with shops, eateries and some magnificent Roman and more modern buildings.
Tarragona ampitheatre is an amazing site.
