Very nice staff, room just okay

Booked this place at the last minute, because I didn't know where i would end up that night. The hotel was very difficult to find and nowhere close by to park. Don't try to use your GPS, if coming by car, because it's up an alley and the streets nearby are for deliveries, official vehicles and mainly locales. Parking anywhere close is a hassle. Does not have it's own check in. You need to go to the La Sacristia a couple of blocks away to check in. Staff at check in was very nice and they even provide a welcome drink.
It was not expensive so I really was not expecting a lot, but the it was still a bit of letdown. Very small room interior room in a building that appears to be primarily apartments. No lobby unless you go to the Sacristia. Mattress not particularly comfortable. Convenient location, but frankly Tarifa is so compact, everything is within a reasonable walk. I hate to be mean, but I would not stay there again.

GREAT SISTER HOTEL TO POSADA SACRISTA

Great sister hotel to Posada Sacrista.
We still prefer Sacrista but it’s now too expensive for us so Escondite is a good alternative
It does have a lift which is useful and also is down a quiet back street
Lovely bed linen and fluffy pillows
We have already booked again for another stay
