Luxury at low prices

The hospital has only ine star but it is definitely worth a 3 star
The rooms are spacious and with deluxe decor, large storage very good bedding, a large flat screen etc..
why "hostal"
the hospital because this establishment does not offer a kitchen/breakfast service.
But we are really in the center of Cala d’Or and everything we need is 1 minute away: breakfast at the bottom of the hospital and lunch or evening around the corner with an excellent pizzeriaeee: Sapoori with cocktails and Italian products based on extra fresh products!!
Anyway, back.
The welcome is considerate and warm, we took a room with terrace and at this time of year (April) it is magical! Starry night and small coffee in the morning sun with sun lounger..
In summary we loved it and really relaxed

Extremely disappointing and hostile experience

We urgently needed to use a toilet and entered because the hostel was completely open to the public, with no reception, no entrance door, no access code, and no sign indicating that the toilets were private or reserved for guests.
Instead of simply explaining the situation, the staff confronted us aggressively and intimidated us. The bald male staff member in particular was extremely hostile, blocked us and eventually demanded €5 for using the toilet. We tried to explain that there was no indication whatsoever that access was restricted, and even offered to buy or consume something, but we were met with no understanding.
There are ways to speak to people and ways to handle a simple misunderstanding. This was completely unnecessary and deeply unpleasant.
Absolutely not the kind of welcome anyone expects from a hostel or from a tourist destination.

Perfect location, clean rooms, good showers. I would highly recommend. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Perfect for summer

Excellent!!! The best location. Modern and very complete. Quiet. It exceeded our expectations.

It deserves a 3 stars! It is located in front of one of the streets of the center of Cala d`Or where local shops and restaurants are located. The room is spacious, modern, very neat and had a balcony overlooking the street. There is a coffee machine with capsules and pot to boil water. It also has a fridge with freezer that (very well thought out) is empty and ideal for leaving drinks. The hair dryer is very good.
Those who run the hotel are very friendly and attentive to everything. As we arrived early they kept our bags and when they arrived at the room they had already left them there for us.
Several beaches with restaurants are just a few minutes’ walk away. The area is picturesque and a good place to stay and tour several of the coves of the west of the island.
We loved this place where we stayed 2 nights and would definitely come back and recommend.
