Excellent dining!

Best flan so far on the Camino!!!
Also a lovely pilgrim menu served by a lovely young family.
I only ate here and cannot comment on the accommodation. However, it’s right across from the Monastery and the village is very small.
The place looks great so I’m sure the accommodation would be nice.

Excellent experience

We stayed for a night on our way to Santiago. The hostel is quaint and well preserved. We loved everything: the venue, the room, the restaurant... Really tasty food for a budget price. The hostel is just oposite the convent, at the very middle of the town. We couldn't have chosen better. 100 % advisable choice on the Camino.

Great restaurant!

We did not stay at this Hostal, however we ate dinner here. We had octopus, salmon, and a salad and all were excellent. The service was very good and the dessert was also good. It is in the center of town and easy to find. We sat outside on a nice day and enjoyed a great meal here. I highly recommend it if you are in Samos. It is very close to the monastery.

Really a hotel

Even though the name of this is hostal, it was really a hotel. We had a room for two people, that was quite comfortable. We couldn't quite figure out the theme of the decor, but that really wasn't an issue. It looked out over a rushing stream. It included a lovely breakfast, and was a great value for the money! We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant including our first sampling of caldo galleho (spelling?)
It's a very good place for people walking the Camino to stay, especially if you are tired of staying in a room with 10 other people!

Super nice staff, clean and nice rooms, good value for money...great food too!!!

I stayed there whilst doing the camino and I definitely think this is the place to stay if you stop in Samos. Excellent location, the rooms were very clean and comfy; very good value for money. The staff was super friendly and made you really feel at home. Great food and pilgrim menu too! so it is also worthy just to go for lunch or dinner
