Good deal.
They adapted the breakfast time so we could leave the hotel on a full stomach.

Lousy restaurant

The lousy restaurant. I don't recommend it. Very slow service. An hour had passed and we had not even been served the drink. When they take the dishes out they don't match the description of the letter. We do not stand up out of education and respect

inordinately expensive that corresponds to neither the Service nor the quality

We have been charged the roast lamb at 70€!!!!! Careful what is not included in the menu.....do not warn of the price and charge more expensive lamb than sirloin, entrecote, etc.

Great location but average experience

Oropresa is a charming little Spanish town & the hotel is located right in the centre of it. There is plenty of free parking right outside the hotel. The room was large and the bed comfortable.
However that was about all the positives I can give. The WiFi didn’t work in the room & the aircon was pathetically weak. We got a terrible nights sleep as the room was too warm.
Why didn’t we complain? Well there was nobody there to complain to! After settling into our room & having a cup of coffee we found the entire hotel empty. Restaurant locked up, reception locked up - even the main gate giving access into the hotel locked. There were no other guests staying there. When we left the next morning we locked the main gate behind us and put the keys in a post box. Don’t know if that was the right thing to do because the hotel had given us zero instructions on what the checkout procedure was.
Quite bizarre!

Excellent value

Great value for a weekend stay in Oropesa right next to the Castillo.
Out the door and through the courtyard and your in the castle and parking is right outside the hotel.
130kms from Madrid airport easy journey and about 8€ tolls so make sure you have change.
