Total impropriety
After making the reservation, I was refused three times as many credit cards provided to guarantee the reservation. I was then contacted by Vettonia Hotel on Whatsapp with a message in which I was told that, due to the difficulties encountered, the reservation would be cancelled but that they would confirm the stay directly to me under the same conditions offered by Booking com; payment could be made on my arrival.
On Saturday 28, two participants having fallen ill, I informed the hotel of the cancellation of a room. Immediately the structure, using the first credit card I provided (which this time he could use, albeit abusively) charged me the full amount, informing me that, since it was a “group” booking (more than two rooms) the cancellation terms were different from those that Booking.com had guaranteed me.
It seems to me that in this way Vettonia Hotel has deceived me and Booking.com

Decent option in Merida
Pros:
1) Location is convenient. We can walk to most attractions.
2) There is a good paid public parking nearby (which is not underground and easy to get in/out).
3) The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The check-in/check-out process was smooth.
4) The room and bathrooms were spacious and clean.
5) The WIFI was free with good speed and connectivity.
6) The tariff was reasonable.
7) The place was quiet at night with good sleep quality.
8) There are reasonable options for groceries and eating next to the hotel.
Cons:
1) The front desk is not operational 24 hours.
2) There is no dedicated hotel parking at the property.
