My hotel in Lugo

I only have good words for this establishment. A four-star hotel located less than ten minutes walking from the walls of Lugo, with spectacular decor and very, very, very friendly employees. Definitely worth repeating.

Everything perfect, apart from the room.

Excellent hotel, with impeccable service. The breakfast is pleasant and varied. The location is excellent, outside the historic center, but very close. The rooms are also beautiful and spacious; the only flaw, but a significant one, is the bathroom, divided between a shower in a separate room without coat hooks which forces you to go out into the room naked, a WC room in a second room (that's fine), and the sink in the room next to the bed (an unfortunate choice).

Very helpful staff and nice clean property. Conveniently located with easy walk to old town.
Restaurant on site also good. Only think is no coffee in the room is a miss.

I've stayed in a few Mercure hotels over the years, the quality can vary to say the least, but this is an excellent hotel, fairly centrally located and very nicely decorated. Rooms are spacious and very clean, minimalist in a very good way and clearly very well mantained. The patio area downstairs is very pleasant (especially when there aren't big groups of people being loud, which can happen sometimes). The food in the main bar is excellent; we did not try the restaurant but heard it was very good. Staff were friendly and kindly changed my room for one with better views. The bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Clean room, free parking on the street close by, a little far from city center.
I didn’t like the room washroom ser up.
