A pleasant surprise!

I was impressed with this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and impeccable cleaned and aromatized. It has a 24 hours restaurant. They are very accommodating and the food is good and at a great value price. This hotel has excellent staff.

Don’t let the truck stop look put you off

Don’t let the exterior fool you. Although you do have the conveniences of a truck stop (convenience store, diner), the hotel room was more American than European. The room was clean and comfortable. The bath was spacious. The hotel and diner staff were some of the best and friendliest along the Camino Frances.

Bad customer experience

Having originally booked this accommodation, we had to cancel which we did in accordance with their free cancellation policy . The property refused to refund us and for two months we tried in vain to get our money back through booking.com . Eventually booking.com customer service had to refund us themselves as the property point blank refused to honour their terms and conditions . So travellers , beware !!!

Good also when walking the Camino

We had two rooms for a total of three adults when walking the Camino Frances:
Good localisation both for people coming by car or by foot.
This is a truck stop, but the windows were good insulated and the rooms had air conditioning, so there were no noice to be heard from outside.
Nice big rooms with comfortable beds.
Breakfast was alright. We also had a nice 3 meal meny in the evening.
Very recommendable.

Stayed there as part of Camino Frances pilgrimage

Well, I guess that I can't say that this was bad but it is basically a truck stop. The room was absolutely fine, lots of room, good bed and bathroom. Despite overlooking the truck stop outside it was quiet. I didn't eat there in the evening but walked the 600 yards or so back into El Burgo as the hotel is alongside the road near the arterial main road. So my average rating is more to do with location but perhaps more importantly for someone walking the breakfast was almost non existent a piece of flan (only one allowed) a coffee and an orange juice. A positive was that as it is a truck stop you could have "breakfast" at any time so I left before it got light.
