An excellent place to stay in the Old City area of Leon, Spain

An excellent place to stay in Leon! After a day's delay due to a delayed flight my grandaughter and I arrived in this lovely hostel on the old part of the city of Leon. The guardian waited for us (he's only there from 11am to 5pm) we got there at 5.15pm. He organised a refund for the day we missed , upgraded our room to a suite on the 3rd floor and insisted on carrying my granddaughter's heave case up 3 narrow flights of stairs for us! He couldn't do enough for us! The accommodation was incredibly, one double bed, 2 single beds in a bright and airy room with kitchen facilities, air con, large wall fan, TV, balcony, small sitting room with TV, bathroom with power shower,etc. Double glazing and shutter blinds kept evening noises in the street below to a minimum but the hustle and bustle was great. He gave us advice of where to eat and drink. We WILL be back!

You can't sleep

Accommodation totally discouraged to rest. Surrounded by bars with activity until as many in the morning. We couldn't sleep either night.
It is a shame because it is very well located in the Humid Quarter and the attention of Sergio great.

Amazing place

Comfortable, cozy and cheap place to visit Leon. It is really well located. The owners are really nice persons. Always trying to help in everything we needed. I highly recommend this place to visit Leon.

Fine for what it was

Finding this little hotel was part of the challenge. They don't speak English, but we were able to make it work. Our room didn't have a window to the street, (we were told we were lucky because our room had a desk!), but onto a vent area, which means we didn't get much of a breeze. The bathroom was small but nice.
The upside is that this place is only a few blocks from the cathedral and tourist areas. Make sure to pay at the front, even though they don't ask for it; don't assume that even if you've booked, that the payment has been taken care of.
To be honest, in Leon, I'd stay somewhere else.

Imposible dormir.

Imposible dormir. Muy mal insonorizado. Está en el centro del Barrio Húmedo en donde hay mucho ruido, algunos bares cierran a las 5:30 de la mañana. Imposible descansar, que es lo que interesa de un hotel además de estar ceca de las visitas.
