Hotel Playamar Spa
Hotel Playamar Spa sijaitsee kohteessa Laredo. Good hotel, just a bit expensive for the services it offers
The best part of the hotel: the location, right on the beach. Although it is far from everything else, so if the weather is not good for the beach, you have to take the car to go anywhere.
The cleanliness was perfect.
The staff: friendly.
Our room was spacious because it was a triple on the fifth floor, but I know that the doubles are very small. The floor of our room was not carpeted, and it was very nice (I read negative comments about the carpet), I have the feeling that the fifth floor has undergone some renovations. Large terrace in the room with beautiful views of the sea.
The breakfast was basic, which I do not need more for breakfast, but it would have been nice to vary some products, because we had the same breakfast for 7 mornings. Little variety in fruit, always the same pastries, the same cold cuts, and tasteless cheese.
The shower is great: large, with sufficient pressure, and temperature regulation. The towels are very "nice" and of good quality, not like in some places where they are almost transparent. In the bathroom, I missed something to rest the toiletry bag on, which I had to leave on the floor.
There is no restaurant, but 500 m away there is a gastrobar (Doblos) where the food is excellent.
There is no parking, and if you are not lucky, you may have to park a bit far away.
Overall, the hotel is very good, somewhat expensive for the services it offers.

Too many expectations for what it really is.
Hotel with a very expensive price for what it offers. Fair breakfast, options were missing. The coffee is very good. The room is small, without AC or fans, without a refrigerator. Noise on the boardwalk every night. Kids gather with music until 12. No parking. Very good location for the beach 5 minutes away, beach views, it is at the end of Laredo.

Very expensive for what it offers
There is no parking available.
It was hot in the room. They could at least provide some paddles.
No refrigerator.
A lot of noise every night until 12 or 1, even with music.
The hotel is far from everything.
The best part is the coffee.

Incomprehensible attention
Hotel with huge sign, saying restaurant and cafe. Well, they're no use to you if you're not housed. By the way, the cafeteria. I understand that they give preference to the housed if they had a lot of work, but being empty is incomprehensible.
I hope they had to throw all the fresh pastries in the trash that they probably haven't sold.

Right hotel
Right hotel. It's not the best hotel you'll see, but it's not bad either.
LOCATION: it is right on the beach, therefore if you want a beach holiday, the location is excellent. It's far from the center, so if you want to see something of Laredo, it's even.
ROOMS: if you are 2 people, the room will stay small, if you are just one person, the size is fine. Very clean the room with excellent Cleaning Service. The bathroom very nice, with a good shower and very clean everything. Each room has a small balcony with some chair and fresh sea views is very nice. The only bad thing about the room, may be that being on a walk, there are days that children and not so children are heard until 1 - 2 AM. The rooms are not air conditioned, but I already knew when I ordered it. I didn’t miss it either, with the window open and the air running, it’s fine.
PARKING: the hotel does not have parking, but it is something you already have to know when booking, it is not useful to complain later. You will not find problems parking, but you still have to walk a little to the hotel... they have a huge garden that is totally out of use, it would be nice to convert it into a parking and charge per day, in the long run they would win and would gain a lot the hotel regarding comfort...
BAR - RESTAURANT: they have bar practically all day, but do not offer lunch or dinner. I already knew when booking, so it's no cause for complaint. But having everything at least 2 - 3 blocks, it would be nice to have them offer that Service, since otherwise, you are obliged to go out for lunch and dinner. They have a terrace that is very comfortable at dusk with the air blowing.
POOL: they have a pool in the attic that is fine. It's small, but it serves its purpose. There are like 6 sunbeds and they are not the most comfortable, but enough.
BREAKFAST: basic, but correct. You've got bread, toast, jam, some fruit, cheese, york ham and some cold meats, coffee, milk, cereals, colacao and orange juice. I missed some more juice, but it's a good buffet.
SPA: costs 30€ and have morning and afternoon hours. The Spa is not bad, somewhat expensive, but for a hotel it is not a bad spa. With its sauna, hot and cold shower, etc. something very good is that it was not requested at all (at least in summer), therefore, you have hours to choose to be alone. That, too, must be valued, having the spa all to yourself.
CLEANING SERVICE: I thought it was very good. Very clean rooms, clean sheets, clean towels, etc. Un 10.
ATTENTION: the hotel staff very friendly, polite and putting a good face to some ill-mannered client of these who are a tocapelotas. A 10 too.
In short: it is a correct hotel, fulfilling its functions. You have to be attentive to the services they do not offer (parking and restaurant), but the rest, is fine. If you are looking for a beach holiday, this beach is a luxury one.
