Very clean very friendly employees
The right breakfast. Oscar the breakfast waiter very professional and friendly earring q no miss anything

Having a weekend in Haro.

For our visit to Haro we chose to stay at the hotel “Alda Malvasia.
This hotel is located within walking distance of the historic center, it is the first time that we book there, and must say that it is quietly located, super friendly staff, very neat rooms, good mattresses, and also the breakfast is good for the category of hotel.
We also opted for a parking space in the private underground garage of the hotel (about 15 places) for 6 € per day, which is a very democratic price!
Especially since there is little parking space in front of and around the hotel!
All in all we were more than satisfied with our stay there and will not fail to book again if we are there again in the area.

Nice hotel but appalling ‘no people’ service

The good points…
1. Very spacious and clean rooms
2. Huge double bed.
The bad points…
1. Arrive after 15:00 and the hotel doesn’t have any staff, all bookings have to me made on a machine in the foyer, an extremely clumsy machine using outdated technology. The ‘remote’ staff are friendly but it’s a really difficult and tiresome task!
2. The hotel’s website is also very clumsy and again old technology, we gave up trying to check-in online after 45 minutes!
3. The car park is badly laid out, you are allocated a numbered space but only 6 of the spaces are actually numbered!
4. No instructions about how to use the WIFi and no one to ask!
They have replaced real staff with cheap low grade technology and it’s appalling

Hotel alda malvasia, Haro

A fairly budget hotel but as it would be a late arrival and early check out we couldn't justify anything more expensive! Chose it as easy to drive to, and secure, cheap (€6) parking for our "loaded to the hilt" car. Good/prompt communication by email in days prior to check in. Remote check in after 3pm which was OK, but operator seemed vague about how to access the garage (the pin pad didn't appear to work so wife went into garage - accessed through the hotel lift- and found a button to operate the double doors. Not sure how a single traveller would manage this.
Room basic but very clean. Always carry our own kettle for an early morning cuppa anyway. Comfortable bed, and lovely powerful shower! Can't comment on breakfast but may have been ok at less than €8 per person. No bar, but local one immediately opposite. Note, many Haro restaurants seem to close on a Monday so after trudging around in the rain for a while we opted for a Chinese! Disgraceful in "tapas town" but it easy friendly and good value
Next morning reception was manned by a charming young lady

Scarce breakfast, spacious and clean rooms, friendly reception staff.

It is the third time we stayed at this Hotel in Haro, we liked because the staff is friendly and the hotel is 10 minutes walk from the center and 20 of the cellars. This time we were disappointed with the breakfast, there was hardly anything, very thawed and it was not replenished what was finished, besides the cold that it was in the breakfast room. Coffee's out in the machine and we couldn't get any more.
