Quiet, close to the town but views of the countryside. Lovely staff. Simple but comfortable room. I would stay here again.

bad stay in Spain

On Saturday evening, we are notified that there would be no restaurant on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday evening.
No breakfast either, and that without them having specified it to us!!
Wednesday morning, we have our breakfast and when we return in the evening, in the rain, the hotel is closed and our keys are inside. Impossible to reach them by phone, it was inside the hotel.
After leaving a WhatsApp message, someone finally comes after 20 minutes to give us the keys, informing us that there would still be no restaurant this Wednesday evening!!
That is too much.
We decide to cut our stay short.
I really do not recommend it

Very good accommodation in Gósol

Hostal Can Franciscó is an accommodation located in the entrance of Gósol, a little town in the pre-Pyrenees Region, in Catalonia. The rate quality/price is very good and our triple room has all we needed. It was very comfortable and the beds were very good. It is very well located in the region, if you want to do some walks and hikings. The staff of the hotel was friendly and we could be in the restaurant at night speaking and relaxing before going to sleep.
On the other hand, it does not have a lift.

Correct but with improved aspects

Hostel right but the room a little fair and with a smell in the bathroom not very nice. Very good dinner and very attentive waitress. They were late serving breakfast taking into account the set time. The very dry and unkind reception boy.

The host whose worst memory I will keep on The Way of the Good Men (GR107). The receptionist offered to leave me available for 7:00 a thermos of tea and a sandwich because I was leaving early (another hotel had already offered me and it was nickel).
In the morning, I couldn't find anything. Nothing had been prepared when I had paid! No staff in the hotel; all doors closed. So I'm gone. They had to email me my bill because the printer was not working; I received nothing.
I wonder; I paid in cash because the device malfunctioned and no ID was asked!!!
Strange...
