Avoid: extremely poor and unprofessional service

My sister had booked a double room, but she didn't know that a single occupancy policy existed. When we both arrived, the man at the front desk was rude and condescending, lecturing her about hotel law, claiming that this rule applied in all hotels, instead of simply explaining the policy and adjusting the reservation, something I have done myself at the check-in of other hotels without any problem. He made us feel as if we were trying to sneak someone in. He didn't even offer us the option to pay a supplement for a second person, as some lower-star accommodations or pilgrim accommodations do. When I asked him to stop giving us a speech and just register my sister so we could resolve it, he became even more difficult.
I went to put my bag in the car, since I wasn't staying and was going to return home that night, and upon returning to see how my sister was doing and use the WiFi to call our mother, who was abroad waiting for the call, the man wouldn't let me in. First he claimed that guests couldn't have visitors (something false, according to our own experience in other hotels), and then he said it was because he had been bothered by my asking him to stop giving us a speech. The fact that he wouldn't let me see where my sister was staying seemed very suspicious to me.
When I asked for his boss's contact information, he only gave me a name, with no way to contact him. When I asked for a complaint form, he refused, claiming that I wasn't a guest and didn't have the right to one. When my sister went down and asked for one herself, he asked her why she wanted it instead of just giving it to her.
A completely unprofessional and not at all accommodating experience. Furthermore, he made my sister feel very uncomfortable and unsafe, to the point that she decided to book other accommodation for that night. Friends in the area told me later that this hotel has a reputation for bad service. I would not recommend it.

Exceptional value for money. I recommend it.

Humble hotel, but the value for money is absolutely exceptional. The room is a very good size and is in a spectacular location. The staff is lovely, and if I had to say something a bit more negative, the breakfast is a bit poor, although it is true that it is very cheap.

A nightmare night without being able to sleep or rest

They gave us a room with some neighbors who did not stop arguing screaming all night and with the TV set very high until 6 in the morning. We couldn’t sleep all night and couldn’t even complain at reception because no one is left there until 7am in the morning that I already went down in my pajamas to complain. We almost called the police because the situation was untenable. It seems that these people have lived there for months and the hotel knows that they have such inappropriate behavior and still gave us that next room. In compensation, we were only discounted 20€ from breakfast, when they should have refunded the entire price because we could not rest or sleep all night!! It was a nightmare!!
