Highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed here in early July. Fantastic little hotel right on the beach. Super views. Clean. Helpful staff. We pre booked a parking space which was right outside the hotel. Great location and about 10-15 minute walk into town.

Lovely, friendly hotel with spectacular views and setting
A wonderful three days in this lovely hotel which is in the most spectacular setting. We went for a larger room on the third floor with its own balcony. It was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. There was no aircon but as we could open the windows wide it didn't matter. The sound of the surf outside our room, the incredible view, lovely breakfasts, friendly staff, parking, swimming before breakfast, - we will remember this holiday for a long time and happily stay here again.

They canceled our reservation
I want to document the serious incident suffered by my wife and me regarding a reservation at the Josein Hotel in Comillas.
The hotel reservation procedure follows an old, slow, and clearly outdated system based on the exchange of emails: the customer requests availability through a form on the website, the hotel replies by email indicating availability and the economic offer, and to confirm the reservation, the customer must respond to that same email accepting the offer and providing the details of a credit card as a guarantee.
That is exactly what we did.
We received the email from the hotel with the offer and availability. We responded by expressly accepting the offer and sent the credit card details, as we had been instructed.
We kept that email in our sent folder, where it shows that it was sent correctly and there is no notice of error, return, or inability to deliver.
However, when we arrived at the hotel around nine in the evening, after traveling with all our luggage, we found ourselves in a truly desperate situation: we were informed that there was no reservation in our name and that the establishment was completely full, so they could not accommodate us.
We showed from our mobile phone the email sent accepting the reservation. The hotel staff checked that the message was in our email, but stated that it did not appear in theirs, without offering us a real solution or an immediate alternative in line with the seriousness of the situation at that moment.
During the conversation, a staff member mentioned that they had had problems receiving some email messages and that this could have been the cause of what happened. That explanation, besides highlighting the limitations of an obsolete reservation system, cannot justify the hotel's reaction or the fact of leaving us without accommodation at night after a trip with a confirmed reservation.
Whatever the origin of the problem, the truth is that we followed the procedure established by the hotel, sent the acceptance of the reservation and the requested details, and ultimately found ourselves without accommodation at nine in the evening, in a location with limited hotel availability, having to urgently seek a solution in a critical situation.
The hotel's reaction was also completely inappropriate: at no time did they apologize or acknowledge their mistake; on the contrary, they indicated that we should have received a reservation confirmation. However, this is not indicated as a requirement in the process.
This situation caused us significant harm, in addition to the stress, uncertainty, and disruption of being left without accommodation when arriving at the destination after a trip, especially in such urgent and desperate circumstances as we experienced.
I am submitting this complaint to document what happened, to request an explanation of how this incident could occur, and to ensure that the establishment takes the necessary measures to prevent other customers from suffering a similar situation.

It's not just the views.
The bathtub was rough, uncoated, when I came out I had my back with a great brush, with its corresponding scabs to the days.
