The perfect hotel
A very well-located hotel, the breakfast is very good and the dinner is quite good, it could have 4 stars, and the best part is its staff, thank you very much for the special treatment with which you treat your clients, from reception to your waiters, cooks, bartender. A ten.

Muchas gracias por compartir su experiencia tras sus recientes vacaciones. Nos alegra especialmente saber que disfrutó de la ubicación de JS Miramar, frente al mar en Can Picafort y junto al paseo marítimo, un entorno ideal para disfrutar de la playa y de agradables paseos durante la estancia.
También nos complace saber que el desayuno fue de su agrado y que disfrutó de nuestras cenas. Nuestro servicio de buffet busca ofrecer variedad y opciones para distintos gustos, por lo que agradecemos mucho su valoración de la propuesta gastronómica.

A week at Miramar
Location is right on the sea front so couldn't be better, the rooms were nice and clean and adequate for a holiday stay. Food was excellent, great choice to choose from. Lovely sitting and chill out areas. Although the Pool was over the road from the main site it a good area with a jacuzzi. We had a gr8 holiday with all the staff very friendly and helpful

Relaxing stay
We loved the hotel. Such a nice one to stay and we truly enjoyed it! The staff amazing very attending and friendly especially dining staff. Lovely dining staff called Pepe is a very lovely man, with nice sense of humor and kind. Food was delicious, room was immaculately clean. Loved the swimming pool just right across the road from sea. Entreatment was good I enjoyed Tina Turner and DJ. Thank you very much.

No sleep at night, wasted vacations.
Do not take this hotel if you think Can Picafort is quiet small city. Constant concerts with loud music played by dj with no creative atmosphere. This hotel is nearby the port and market with scene. Sleep is impossible. Wasted vacations. Hotel is full, no possibility to change room for more quiet one. Out of 6 nights, 3 were with DJ playing music with at least 140 db, you can't stand nearby the scene. Windows in hotel are totally not soundproof, you hear the full radio or dj YouTube in your room as you would put loud music speaker inside of the room. Food is quite good. No free water at dinner. Cleaning could be better. View is ok, but what of that if you are frustrated due to lack of sleep. You do not choose Can Picafort for constant loud concert outside of your room. Do not recommend. Not worth your time. I am writing this at 1:16 am for your knowledge. This is my last night here.

Regarding the room, our housekeeping team follows a daily cleaning routine and regularly changes the bed linen. Nevertheless, we are sorry that the cleanliness did not fully meet your expectations.
We also appreciate your positive comments regarding our cuisine. As you mentioned, when booking half board, breakfast and dinner at the buffet restaurant are included. Hot drinks are included during breakfast; however, neither cold nor hot beverages are included during dinner and must be paid for separately.

Good location and helpful manager – but the room experience reduced the overall impression
We stayed at JS Miramar during the high season. Unfortunately, we had great problems with an unpleasant smell in our room. It took two nights before we were moved to a sister hotel for the last night. The hotel manager was very helpful and did his best to resolve the situation, while the reception unfortunately did not feel as committed. There also seemed to be a lack of communication with the cleaning staff, who initially had to try to solve the smell problem without it helping.
Another disadvantage was the very thin walls, we heard basically everything from inside and outside the hotel. Luckily, the hotel is located in a quiet area, which meant that it still worked decently at night.
On the positive side, the location is very good. The hotel is close to several really good restaurants, the promenade is nice and the sandy beach is nice and easily accessible. The air conditioning was not the strongest, but it still worked acceptably.
To compensate for the problems, we got evening buffet, which was appreciated. Breakfast was good with a good selection, but the evening buffet did not impress and is not something we would have chosen to pay extra for.
The pool area is across the street and consists of a normal sized pool, a children's pool and a jacuzzi. The pool has a good depth for both swimming and swimming, but it cannot be compared to the pool areas of larger resorts. A large part of the area is also in shade during the day, which can be both a pro and con depending on your preference.
All in all, JS Miramar is an okay hotel, and it feels reassuring that the management is actually willing to help when problems arise. For us, however, a good night’s sleep, quieter rooms, more modern standards and more efficient air conditioning are important factors. Therefore, we had chosen a different hotel next time.
