Well situated hotel for Cádiz old town
The hotel was very well situated for visiting all main attractions and beaches. We upgraded on arrival and had a large room with two massive beds. Bathroom was large with excellent waterfall shower. Rooms are simple but spotlessly clean. Kettle and fridge in room were useful. Cava with chilled glasses for first night was a nice touch. We tried the spa pools for 24 euros for 1.5 hours which were relaxing. Hotel Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent noise management couldn’t hear anything from next rooms. Slight noise from outside but considering location we weren’t disturbed at night. Nice safe area. Would stay again.

Great room for the price
This is a great hotel! I loved my night here. The staff was friendly & helpful. The price was great & the hotel had parking (for those having a rental car). The room was great & beds were comfy.I will definitely book here again!

Staff was great and helpful. Brunch was plentiful and worth the cost. Room was spacious. The beds were kind of cheap and not really comfortable. The hotel itself was beautiful once upon a time, but is lacking continued updates to keep a 4 Star Status. Just felt tired, dated, lacking furniture and updates.

This was not the hotel we saw in pictures. We were very disappointed. The furniture was in poor shape, the linens and towels were older. We were unable to adjust the temperature in either of our rooms(up or down), Parking is available, for an undisclosed fee, but the local parking garage was less expensive and easier to access. The beautiful pool in the pictures is actually in the Spa pool for a fee. The biggest issue was the smell of the rooms. It was as if they had been smoked in. We requested to cancel our reservation for a refund so we could rebook elsewhere but the hotel refused to refund the prepayment. So we were forced to stay and endure the less than expected accommodations. Hotels.com was responsive, but left the entire decision up to the hotel and was not helpful.

We had tried to contact the hotel on 3 occasions prior to arrival to make sure we had car-park space without reply - we arrived and they did have space and managed to get me into the lift [it is VERY tight] so that was fine - I paid for car-park €26 per day and also they offered upgrade room €20 for the night - We went to the room and it was beyond dirty with animal hairs all over the sofa and stained bed linen and pillows etc - we chose at this point to not stay as this was for my wife's birthday and she was upset, and sneezing etc from the animal hair and said she would not want to stay and eat if the room was any guide to the rest of the hotel - we checked out and the lady at reception refunded the €46 i paid for upgrade and parking. So I had also paid for evening meal and breakfast so clearly we had no overnight stay, no meal and no breakfast - the hotel refused any form of refund as they say [despite seeing the photographic evidence] that it was all of a standard they were happy with! So we our now out of pocket around £200 for a room which we could not sleep in and evening meal and breakfast we were not there to eat - pretty poor way to treat a customer sadly.
