I will be back!

Everything was excellent: the treatment, the room, the cleanliness, the comfort... It shows that there is love and care. The super nice host, the perfect location, right in the center. The room smelled great and the sheets were very warm. I have been like a queen.
Highly recommended!

Exceptional

This is definitely a Pension plus lots more. Forget the normal dingy dark ambience of most pensions. Pension Guerrero is exceptional in its class.
We were welcomed with a cup of tea, and chat. Later on we were taken across the road for an impromptu tour of the museum attached to the architecturally interesting school. Dinner was then cooked specially to our needs.
The room was warm, quiet, and comfortable.
The Pension has an inner courtyard and a roof terrace, and has a high level of accessibility ( for example, it has a lift (braille markings), showers are walk-in, and there are no steps).
Not only did we get a warm welcome from the owner, who genuinely wanted to make sure we had an enjoyable stay, but we had the delight of meeting one of the longer term guests who chatted with us at dinner.

WHAT A WELCOME!!

Mari Jose goes 110% to welcome her guests. Pilgrims on the Camino Mozarabe de Santiago are especially welcome. Rooms are slightly spartan but heating is fine. For a town centre hotel, very quiet. 20 mins walk from the via verde railway walk and the camino de santiago. Food -- best to indicate in advance if you want lunch or dinner, bargains at €10 per meal --really basic good home cooking. Mari Jose took me around the museun opposite and then guided me to the elegant 19th century club the Circulo de Amistad for a predinner drink.

Fantastic felt like a 5 start hotel

Incredible place for the price. Excellent room Small but very clean great A/C and wifi. The owner Mari Jose incredible person. When out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. Starting with a sit down introduction and history with maps of the region and accommodating my bicycle since I was doing a bicycle touring. The museum was close across from her and she manage to get the key so I could see it.Im going back when I get a chance a lot of parks and geological sites.
