Beautiful hotel with extremely welcoming and friendly receptionists. Highly recommended!
Excellent location in the center just 20 minutes walk from the Guggenheim museum.

Disappointing.
I chose the Radisson to celebrate our anniversary and enjoy a night as a couple again after becoming parents. What a disappointment.
I cannot understand how a relatively new 5-star hotel could have so many poor details: label stickers on furniture, masking tape left over from painting, broken glass…
But the most outrageous thing: being in Bilbao, arriving at breakfast, saying “Egun on,” and having the woman who greets you give you a blank stare and immediately start speaking English. She asks about the room, we respond in Spanish, and she doesn't know what we are saying; she hides behind the excuse that people in Spain speak too fast. Unbelievable. It is intolerable that the person in charge of receiving guests does not even know Spanish (let's overlook Basque, an official language).
To top it all off, the gluten-free “options.” The only thing they brought me was a mini croissant (they didn't even have bread) and the açai bowl…how to explain it: shredded coconut and ONE slice of banana.
The positive note: they gifted us two free drinks for the anniversary.
Conclusion: very bad option. Choose another hotel for your visit to Bilbao.

Great stay!
LOCATION: perfect, in the Gran Via, main shopping street, Abando metro entrance close by. Plenty of shops and nice restaurants In walking distance. You can also walk to the main tourist attractions (Guggenheim, Casco Viejo etc). Tourist info across the Plaza Circular. Corte Ingles (large shopping place) across the street.
WELCOME/SERVICE: friendly and fast check in/out. Special mention for Mr. Asier from Front Desk who gave good advice concerning nice restaurants and he made reservations for us (despite the restaurant being fully booked!).
ATMOSPHERE: luxurious, classic, dark&golden features.
ROOM: large, clean, well kept, modern&luxurious decoration, good amenities, aircon. worked fine.
BREAKFAST: Buffet with large choice on the 7th floor, à la carte orders included in the BF package.
ROOFTOP: very nice roof top on the 7th floor, nice terrace for a chill drink and a cool view.
Value for money was ok for us as we didn't have any discussions, everything was fine!

Bad experience. I would recommend you avoid.
Very disappointing experience at Radisson Collection Bilbao.
We spent 2 days without working air conditioning. What made it even worse was the terrible communication. We were repeatedly told that the issue had been fixed, only to return to the room and find that nothing had changed.
For a hotel positioning itself at this level and charging these prices, this is simply unacceptable. Problems can happen, but misleading guests and failing to properly communicate or resolve the issue is not what you expect from a supposedly premium hotel.
Overall, the hotel is significantly overpriced for the experience and level of service it provides. I would not recommend staying here. There are plenty of other hotels in Bilbao. Look elsewhere.

It was a really good stay because the hotel is amazing. The breakfast is really good with a big variety of options. The location is the best possible, near to shops and also to the city center where you can find the historical places.
We had an issue with the hot water at the shower which led to maintenance working at the toilet for a few hours. When we asked for a late checkout they said the hotel was fully booked which is very unfortunate given the issue we had. We had fruits and chocolates as an apology for the inconvenience - which was nice.
The room was big, quiet and clean. We would love to stay there again.
