Great value!

Stayed for three nights with a friend. The location is great: the beach just across the street, it's close to some beautiful moais you can access without tickets to see during sunset, and it's loads of nice cafes and restaurants in the area. A bit noisy at night, but totally worth it. Nice to have access to a kitchen, cute dogs and chickens in the garden, and friendly and helpful owners. The place looks a bit run down from the street, but don't be fooled, this is a gem.

Dream Rapa Nui

Excellent place, Claudio's management is perfect, welcoming environment, splendid room, impeccable mattress, very clean sheets and towels.
I hope one day I can return to this paradise.

Great place

Very good place to stay, close to every thing and quiet. The room is comfortable and Claudio and his wife are very nice. Claudio picked us from the airport and showed us everything we needed to know about staying in Rapa Nui.

Clean, cozy and nice hosts

We really enjoyed our stay. Our host mum, Marie Angelique was there to pick us up from the airport and greeted us with a big smile a kiss on the cheek and a floral wreath. After her brother in law showed us our room, which was very simple yet cozy and clean, he sat us down with a map and gave us great hints and tips of where to go and when.
This was greatly appreciated! The location was perfect with a beach right across the street.
The beds were comfortable and never felt the room was too hot. We grilled our own food one evening on the grill and got plenty of use from the mini fridge in our room.
We do highly recommend this place.

Great location, friendly hosts, lots of animals

This hostal is different from others on the island in that you are staying in the hosts' house. Claudio and Maria Angelica are very friendly and warm. The hostal is located in an ideal location close to the ocean, and just a 5 minute walk to Tahai, a Moai site which is a perfect spot to catch the sunset. It is also close to town and within walking distance of a few other sites. They have several animals in their house- 4 dogs, 2 cats and lots of chickens. The animals are very sweet and 2 of the dogs spent a day with us as we visited some different sites.
