Where to stay in Paraty

Opposite the Nossa Senhora Dos Remedios Church, right in the historic center, stay in this charming pousada.
Spartan comfort but enough to spend the night.
The staff is friendly.
In case of rain, the staff will lend you an umbrella, and if you take a cruise, they will lend you towels.
Do not forget to drop the key at the Welcoming during your outings.

Visit to Brazil. The small town very typical of Paraty.

Hotel well located in the city center. It is in its juice that is to say old-fashioned, a bit of neo-colonial style. A motley decoration mixing ancient objects and leaping. Very pleasant exteriors planted with rare species such as coffee, cocoa, banana etc...
Room with good bedding but furnished in a Spartan way. A single bedside table and its lamp, no wardrobe, just a few hangers on a coat rack. The shower is wide. The rest is up for auction.
Overall: friendly hotel but limited comfort. Corresponds to a two star in France.

Town Square.

Situated right on the Old town Paraty town square, this place is beautiful and quaint. There were a few mosquitoes but it is reasonably clean and quite safe.

Disappointing

The good points of this pousada were:
- Nice swimming pool and very good location
- The staff is very friendly
However, the bad points were:
- The room smelled musty
- The beds were the worst ones we experienced during our 3 weeks in Brazil. They clearly need to buy new ones.
- We got badly bitten by fleas during our stay in this pousada...

Super well located in the historic center

Super well located! Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. We needed ice to make compresses and they took in the bag and with a towel. Very kind. Good breakfast. Great common area and room size and bathroom good. Towels could be a little better.
