Great restaurant!
The Toucan Inn Restaurant is in front of the hotel, on the second floor of the main office. Very pleasant atmosphere, perfect temperature, great service, and delicious food at a good price.
I’m sure I’ll stop here every time I come through Independence in the future.

I would have enjoyed my stay more if I was told they were building a pool deck every morning promptly at 730am.
I was NOT informed at check in. Via email or from the property owners.
The saws and hammering started before quite hours of 8am were over.
I realize this is temporary, however not belong informed this would be happening was EXTREMELY frustrating.
We were unable to sleep in any day, which was extremely frustrating for the teenager with me.
Did I mention it was DIRECTLY outside of our room????
Staff in restaurant was pleasant.
Office staff seemed like they didn’t really want to check us in.
Food was ok and reasonably priced.
Would I go back? Absolutely not. You lost us at the bandsaw.
