Friendly helpful staff and a very comfortable room

Convenient location, very walkable to restaurants and the water. Staff were very helpful with arranging taxis to further away destinations and recommending cool things to do. Rooms were simple but clean and comfortable (very good mattress in my room), with excellent AC and nice views from the balcony. Free baggage check was also a nice thing, as we had some things we wanted to do in town after checkout time. Building felt safe and secure. Owners (Chad and Eleanor) couldn’t possibly have been nicer. Would definitely stay here again.

Unique, safe and comfortable

This place is absolutely wonderful. The friendly and kind. attention to taking care of guests was so soothing after the hustle and bustle of traveling. I felt as if I already knew the owners before I ever got there as their response to my questions was impeccable.. they assisted with transport, helped me with my luggage, and made me feel at home. The care they put into this family business is unique.
I appreciated the water cooler and microwave that was available on every floor. The rooms were very clean and I had a nice big fluffy towel. This property has charm because it’s an older building.
I highly recommend this establishment and plan to return.

Cool place

I liked this little place. It’s definitely off of the beaten bath a little bit but the owners and staff here are really nice people. They have coffee and bananas down stairs in the morning. It’s a bit rustic but so is everything in Dangriga. I think it’s a great value.

Great!

Super nice stay! The lady at the reception was great, the room was as requested with air conditioning and very clean. I spent the night there with my partner and we had questions about transport/tips/things to do... and the reception helped us enthusiastically. We found this a very nice accommodation and will definitely recommend it.

A Wonderful Hotel!

My wife Cathy and I loved our stay at the Chaleanor Hotel. It's a family run business and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Chad (the co-owner with his wife Eleanor) went to considerable time and effort to help us locate a local laundromat and secure transportation there. He also assisted us with finding good swimming spots in the ocean (within easy walking distance of the hotel) and ways to explore the local vibrant music scene.
Our room was clean and the AC worked well. Fresh drinking water was a few steps away. We enjoyed the hotel's free fresh fruit and especially loved the view of Dangriga from the hotel's rooftop.
