Attractive and spacious family campsite

Super nice, cozy and atmospheric campsite. Last year we went to Chênefleur and this year again (with a tent and an additional tent). The campsite is playfully set up with fields and spacious pitches The atmosphere is very nice with all kinds of different people and lots of children. Our children of 9 and 11 have had a really great time this year, just like last year. They have played a lot of football on the different fields, played kubb and played evenings with the children on the camping hunting season.
In between cooling off in the pool during the day, fishing in the river and building dams in the river. Very nice!
The plumbing is fine, old but fine to use and especially clean, which we think is the most important. And of course you have people who unfortunately do not leave it clean but you unfortunately have them at every campsite. At the large sanitary building is a large freezer for guests where you can store some, very nice! The staff is helpful and friendly. The campsite is otherwise quiet and we love to come there. There is also plenty to do and see in the area: Bouillon (including visit to fortress), Bastogne (Bastogne) war museum (consisting of two parts museum and a little further by car the foxholes), Luxembourg, Abbey Orval, kayaking on the Semois, a visit to Au Coeur de L'Ardoise (a slate mine, highly recommended!), and an altitude course on the same property. It was again a very successful holiday!

Terrible experience!

Terrible!
Total lack of management and serious nuisance - Holiday with family ruined
​For a large amount, we booked a 14-night stay, but due to the unbearable conditions, we left after 3 nights with our 3 children.
The entire campsite seriously lacks in terms of management, quiet, and hygiene.
​No enforcement and night rest: There seem to be no noise rules at the campsite, or at least they are not enforced at all. The gate remained open at night, allowing cars to drive in and out late into the night.
From 6:30 in the morning, the nuisance started again.
Besides that, there was noise during the day due to work at the reception.
​Severe odor nuisance at Tent 5: Tent 5 borders directly on the central waste disposal site, which was overcrowded. The camping owner's emergency solution was a trailer with leaking garbage bags right behind the glamping tents. At 36 °C, leaked garbage caused an unbearable stench.
​Poor facilities: The pool was cloudy and green.
The 6-person accommodation had only 4 dining chairs and damaged furniture on the terrace.
​A huge disappointment for our family. Due to the total lack of structure, rest, and maintenance, we absolutely advise against this campsite.

Rats are taking over!

At first sight it was not so bad until you take a look at the pool, there are no shipowners present and the water seems green. The toilets and showers have never been cleaned and are very dirty. If all that is not enough, it was full of rats from the river to the tent. I also got sick because the rats touched our water, I wasn't the only one.

Nice experience

Nice location, lots of trees and shadow, restaurant is fine, good animation for kids. We enjoyed ourselves a lot here! I would recommend it to others.

Very quiet and natural campsite

Old caravanner of 73 years with our Esterel 1980, experienced , I recommend this campsite very well maintained, wooded, with songs d, birds. Patron Friendly, helpful, and discreet.Frankly I recommend for the quiet and large pitches.
