Whilst the rooms are spotless, comfy bed and the bathroom are super clean and modern, there was only one coat hanger, remote for TV with flat batteries, and no lounge chair (only a dining one). Extremely annoyed that the King room advertised as being located in the quieter part, it was in fact the noisiest I’ve possibly had anywhere in the world! [Rooms 15-17] Over the downstairs bar, thumping live music Friday night, recorded music Saturday night, overlooks the Main Street of Orange with large trucks thundering through and noisy and inconsiderate guests in rooms opposite. Oh and the permanent smell of cigarette smoke residue from gaming room at street entry, Given we had two rooms for 3 nights, really unhappy with zero response from management. Reception and bar staff were lovely and kind. Handy having restaurant downstairs, supermarket and fabulous cafe/bakery in neighbouring street. Stay elsewhere if you want peace and quiet.

We had an excellent value for money spacious room with a king size bed located above an excellent pub that served amazing food. Highly recommend!

The hotel was clean and nicley renovated. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was very noisy.

More could be done to leave information in the room about the bakery nearby where a good breakfast can be purchased. Arrangements about out of hours access would also be helpful.

So great to return to Orange and this fabulous gem of a wonderful Hotel

We visited Orange in late 2024 and stayed here at The Parkview Hotel. The experience was so enjoyable that when we decided to return to Orange in June this year 2026 we without hesitation booked The Parkview Hotel for our four nights duration. Once again we stayed in a fresh renovated King Suite with such a lovely comfortable bed , fluffy towels , lovely shower gels in a lovely bathroom .
Every day our room was serviced by our lovely cleaner who always made it a delight to walk back into a today suite.
The Hotels restaurant is fabulous! We ate there every night each meal was a standout and their specials don’t disappoint either . The hotels restaurant is fabulous was busy every night and well deserved as it’s well worth visiting.
The location of this grand old girl is right across the road from a beautiful memorial park and central to every cafe , stores and shopping malls that Orange had to offer.
A huge highlight is how close the hotel is to all the fabulous wineries of which my husband and I visited 7 of our favourites. We certainly bought up big at the wineries and now we’re home will enjoy some of these great wines with warm fond memories.
We highly recommend The Parkview Hotel for Hotel for recreation and business it’s a great hotel to stay.
