Good budget hotel

I usually stay at the Millthorpe Hotel when doing the Millthorpe markets. Always have a good stay only a budget hotel but great value for money. Rooms are quite comfortable, don't have an attached bathroom but there are plenty of bathrooms that have all been recently renovated and are well appointed.
Meals are 5 star, great value and comprehensive menu. All served very quickly

Hotel is very reasonably priced and in a great location.

Hotel is great value, rooms are clean and quiet comfortable. Bathroom is separate but easy to access and have all been recently renovated.
Meals are excellent, fresh tasty, good choice and served very quickly. Centrally located and easy access. Would definitely recommend for clean tidy and value for money

Reasonable Stay

Stayed here as close to where we need to be. Bottom floor has been renovated and quite nice. Meals are 5 stars and service quick and friendly.
Room was very clean bed very comfortable but old. Only downfall was I could not have a shower in the morning because there's e was just no water in the shared bathroom for some reason. Wasn't able to advise the hotel as we left at 0400 as we were attending the Millthorpe Markets. Definitely would stay again as good value and excellent meals and location

Bland

I enjoy so much about this hotel. As a rule, dinner is always tasty, and on par with a good pub meal.
Tonight’s experience was nothing short of average. Very little taste - none would describe it better. The sauces provided didn’t live up to their namesake. Not mention one was split.
The only saviour tonight was the wait staff.

Smelly and Filthy

Unfortunately, although the hotel looks really cute from the outside, it is awful upstairs. The carpets are filthy and the whole place has an awful odour. The kitchen was filthy. I wasn't given a towel. Whatever came out of the air conditioner smelt like urine and now I am sick. I never leave reviews, but in this case I felt compelled to.
