Lovely old cottage

We stayed in beach shack 2 whilst the accommodation is old and fairly basic it was clean good comfortable beds nice small patio overlooking the beach, it wouldn’t be everyone’s choice but I loved it and would go back there again,

Clean but in need of some TLC

We stayed 3 nights in the beach units. Our first impressions were that the units needed painting. The windows were so dirty that we had trouble seeing clearly out of them. The locks on the doors were barely adequate. The washing machine didn't work on the spin cycle. However the location was fabulous directly over the road from the beach, and close to shops and food supplies.

Unfortunately I wish I had read the reviews properly before booking this accommodation.
Firstly the physical location of the units is good as you can walk to the beach, town centre etc, however the "entrance/driveway" to the unit we stayed in was not very clear.
There is a very aggressive man who lives next door so beware!
Once we figured out where to park and entered the unit a very strong pungent smell hit us in the face. The smell was all throughout the unit.
The wifi did not work, the bathroom/laundry door did not close properly, the back door did not lock properly and the blinds on the front window did not close fully.
Next door had the aircon on and it was very loud, we could hear it all night.
The shower head was good and there is a washing machine.
Overall the unit is in need of a refurbishment and I most likely won't stay here again.

Value for Money - Ideal Location

We were a group of 4 adults so booked the two bedroom villa and stayed 4 nights. Fran (the owner) was fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful prior to our visit, with suggested tours and when to do things. Staff during our visit were fabulous too. Villa is a little dated, but still excellent value for money, comfortable beds, and a lovely hot shower...Location is perfect, protected from the strong winds, and walking distance to everything. Can highly recommend and would happily stay there again. Thank you Fran and Harvey for a very enjoyable long weekend in Shark Bay.

Very basic

The spot is good but that’s all sadly , very run down and overpriced for something so basic.
Bedroom doors don’t shut so if you want privacy you don’t have any. Shower only trickles ... aircon is cold but super noisy .. and not one smoke alarm in the unit which we found disturbing. Wish I’d read the reviews before booking.
