Comfortable, Friendly, Good Location

We stayed 8 days here while we conducted a conference nearby at the House of Esther. We needed 24 hour WiFi which was provided here. The YMCA was financed by the YMCA in Zurich, Switzerland and we could see many Swiss touches! The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were interesting as the cook made us 2 eggs each 9 different ways! There was an abundance of bread, preserves, yogurt, juice, cheese, butter and of course coffee and tea. The shower was pretty fancy but we could only get the hand-held shower, the light and fan to work. The side sprays and rain-shower head were a mystery. The YMCA has an orchard and large green house in the back of the property. There is a small room where you can buy souvenirs. There is a lot of activity with the pre-school, gym, dance classes, sewing classes, etc. going on but our room was quiet in the evenings. There is a nice park across the street & stream where you can take long walks around the park or up to the town center for shops & restaurants. We would stay there again.

Comfortable stay

The rooms are very large, clean and nice, also modern bathroom, very friendly staff, yummy breakfest, good coffe and good atmosphere! The staff can recommend some sightseeings in and around Spitak. There is also a small book vailable containing maps and interessting descriptions about Spitak.

Surprisingly good

I spent two night at YMCA Spitak. The city doesn't have many hostels or guest houses, so the choice was limited, and I'm very satisfied with YMCA rooms. The last 100 meters of the road leading to YMCA (of course it's not their fault) are horrifying but this is the only bad thing about that. The rooms are very clean, very good bathrooms, staff is very helpful, breakfast is ok. For this small Armenian city it's an excellent experience.

Ping-Pong hostel

Very friendly and helpfull staff. We felt warmely welcomed and even stayed two nights instead of one. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We even played ping pong with a former armenian champion! Thanks a lot for your hospitability!

A visit at YMCA- Spitak

It was a great pleasure to visit and stay at YMCA- Spitak. It´s a unique place that has a homely atmosphere and a professional treatment. Highly recommended if you are traveling in northern Armeninen. I will (hopefully) be back soon again :-)
