The best in Shkoder

Very friendly staff . The hotel was right at the city center the rooms were good and the spa was great . Enjoyed my stay here

Noisy

Room on 2nd floor Street side
We had 2 bad nights, lots of dogs barking every time someone passes.
Windows not isolating well
Same for the walls with neighbours

Very close to Call to Prayer so noisy

Small room but did give us a king size bed. A good location -- easy to get where you needed to be and see. Noisy-- call to prayer is right there. Breakfast was poor. Terrible coffee. Cold food. Just an ok place.

Getaway to Albania ( Shkoder )

5* Inn with free parking very well located to visit the city. Close to the main street and various monuments. For this occasion we booked a suite. Very nice bedroom with entrance hall, living room and a superb bathroom with balneo bath. The bedding is very good and faultless.in the living room an office area on which there is a kettle ,2 cups and 2 bags of sugar but no coffee or tea. A little further a placemat with 2 glasses but no welcome water. We arrive when it rains the Inn is unable to lend us an umbrella. Breakfast is very light , no pastries of 8:30 am , the lockers are not refueled, turkey charcuterie , if you want a fruit other than apples you have to cry with a waiter who is very busy with coffee machines that only work in his presence.
Very cold staff and borderline polite.
I'm not advising.

Very Nice

My wife and I stayed here one night in late September, ‘23 on a small group tour of the Balkans. We enjoyed it and would have liked to stay longer.
The Colosseo is in a very good location on a pedestrian street just across from an attractive modern mosque. It is has an upscale feel to it in terms of architecture and service, beginning with the attractive lobby area with a pleasant restaurant off to one side. Our room (208) was very large, stylishly decorated, and had a nice view of the pedestrian street and the mosque. It was well-appointed with three twin beds a large closet, a desk, coffee maker, and a night stand that had an outlet but required unplugging a lamp to use it for charging devices. The attractive bathroom was equipped with very modern fixtures but only a small amount of counter space. There was a corner shower that needed some maintenance on the doors.
Breakfast in the pleasant restaurant was very good, though short on fresh fruit. The coffee dispensed by the single-cup machine was very good.
Overall the Colosseo is a very comfortable hotel in a good location. It was perfect for one night but it would likely also be a good choice for a longer stay in Shkoder.
