Cape May get away !

Berny and Harry are such excellent host and hostess. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. There gardens and cozy patio was so relaxing. You are a walk away from everything in the Downtown area of Cape May. I would go back.

Beautiful B&B with courtyard, private decks, apartment style accommodations

We have a home in Cape May and frequently recommend The Thomas Webster House to our friends and guests. Berry and Harry, the owners have done a beautiful job making this elegant home into private apartments, one and two bedrooms complete with kitchens, living rooms, private decks, and baths. It is walking distance to town and the beach. Charming and historic, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect place in every way!

Wow...what more could you ask for?
-Comfortable, clean and roomy? Check
-Great outdoor living spaces? Check
-Free parking? Check
-Free bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas? Check
-Centrally located, within walking distance of everything, yet far enough away from everything to not feel cramped? Check
-Wonderful, friendly and helpful hosts/owners who go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one? Check
Wonderful Victorian apartment style B&B Inn with private entrances that include private(your own deck) or semi-private(ground floor large garden patio area or breezy front porch with rockers) outdoor areas, etc., and very pleasant outdoor showers (in addition to your own bathroom/showers inside). We stayed in the Golden Gingko Suite and our deck had beautiful blooming plants such as hibiscus a wonderful view of the back garden patio area with banana trees and other tropicals, and a very large, very old Gingko tree...just beautiful. Located just a 10 minute walk from the beach in one direction, a 5-10 minute walk from the restaurants, pubs, cafes and unique retail shops on and around the outdoor Washington Mall in another direction, and just a 5 minute drive to fun and quirky West Cape May...we had everything at our finger tips.
Berny and Harry are just wonderful and warm people who will make you feel welcome the moment you arrive and make sure you have everything you need and that your trip will be a memorable one. Need a recommendation on things to do or places to eat? Just ask and you will receive. Oh, and if you left something behind after you check out...article of clothing, piece of jewelry...whatever..as we did, Berny will probably be sending you a text letting you know about it before you even realized it yourself, letting you know it will be in the mail tomorrow! So thankful we found The Webster House....we are sure to return again in the future.

Perfect for the four of us

Talk about a last minute reservation on Memorial Day Weekend.....we lucked out and they had a 2 bedroom 'apartment' or suite of sorts. Called the Captain's Quarters, it was on the third floor, and had a nice kitchen, LR, two bedrooms, bath. It was perfect. The porch off the kitchen was wonderful for coffee in the morning. The owners were amazing...very friendly, attentive to our needs yet not intrusive. Looking forward to going back to this destination again. I love the little stuff...like a parking spot with our name on it when we arrived, and fresh treats in the kitchen, including some fruit and apple fritters. Little touches like that make all the difference !! They also left a nice hand written note welcoming us. Place was very clean. It is in downtown Cape May and has views of the gardens they maintain.

Wonderful Stay at Thomas Webster House

We stayed at the Thomas Webster House from July 11th through July 18th. My first and foremost requirement is cleanliness and that is the first thing I noticed as we arrived to the Captains Quarters. The suite was quaint and comfortable and Berny had muffins waiting for us on arrival. She is a wonderful fun hostess for you time at Thomas Webster and makes sure that you have everything you need and was never intrusive. We had a last minute change to our plans and without any problem she accommodated us. She even met us with snacks after we returned from the beach one day. She is charming and a true joy. They provided us bikes and chairs and beach umbrella and that saved us a ton of space for our week. Now for the gardens and the flowers.. wow! Harry is a landscaping force to be reckoned with. I saw no other house in Cape May so beautiful and he does it all himself. Two hard working people who have put together a wonderful get away in an amazing town. We have always loved Cape May and this place adds to it. We will be back here to stay. I miss Berny already !!
